The fact it actually happened helps, too, so there's that.

Darkseid is so screwed. Galactus has way stronger feats.
The comments section of YouTube videos are usually worthless but that one is a real treat as Darkseid fanboys struggle to come up with reasons Darkseid is going to stomp... and why the actual comic where he got squashed by Galactus doesn't count.

Indeed lol. They can't accept that a Marvel Character is more powerful than their precious Darkseid.

I'll be honest, I've never seen much Darkseid.

I have never understood why he's supposed to be 'all that'.
I mean, you can find comics where he conquers everything forever (undone the next issue of course) but ultimately Darkseid is kinda small potatoes even in the DC verse. His archenemy is Superman. 'Kay, Superman is great and all but that pretty much means Darkseid is vulnerable to being punched out because Superman isn't bringing much that's metaphysical or conceptual to the table. And indeed, Darkseid gets routinely punched out. I'd be much more afraid of Trigon (who beat Darkseid like a drum incidentally, to the hilarious gnashing of many fanboy teeth), or at higher levels stuff like the Antimonitor who I think is a better matchup against Galactus.

Properly written Darkseid can be a fairly compelling character, he's meant to be more of a cunning schemer and ultimate evil than a strongman. Smarter than Luthor, possessed of armies of parademons, commanding an entire host of supervillains stronger than the Justice League, and himself powerful enough to throw down with Superman and be on top.

In practice he's not very often well-written, and even when he is "well-written" doesn't actually translate to "powerful in vs. debates." By nature all his schemes have to be defeatable by Superman punching them because Superman's his main enemy and doesn't bring any metaphysical powers or supertech to the table. Like Thanos, he has instances of defeating nearly the entire universe by himself but, also like Thanos, that isn't because he personally is that powerful but because he got ahold of something superpowerful.
