United States Craft of 'Non-Human Origin' Have Been Retrieved by the US DoD and Others for 80 Years, Congressional UAP Whistleblower Reports Confirm.

going to have to second Skall here, people are pretty bad at keeping secrets and something this big....yeah not likely.

The more likely thing is that we've been working on incredibly high tech secret shit for awhile which considering the size of americas black budget and the amazing drips and drabs that have come out is much more likely.
We still don't really know what happened with JFK. Or Roswell. It took years for info on Charles Manson being a CIA experiment to come around.

Keep the circle tight, and keep strong incentives for keeping the secret, and yes secrets like this can be kept for a long time.

Shit, this incident itself is direct evidence of that. We know from evidence that has leaked that this stuff is real. Doesn't mean it's aliens, but they've managed to keep the secret for decades.

Besides, your argument boils down to "I don't believe it because I don't believe they can keep secrets," when the only reason we know about this stuff now is because on multiple occasions, they have failed to keep the secrets.

Something is going on. That much is true. Aliens? I'm not claiming that yet.

Didn't someone recreate Oswald's second shot using ballistic gel and a shooting platform at the right height?

Intelligence officials are still holding on to mountains of information that they have not ever released and hasn't leaked. That's the point I was making.

They definitely can keep secrets if they keep their circles small and really try.

And regardless if this is aliens or not, what we are seeing is decades worth of secrets starting to slowly leak as whistleblowers come forward.

And plenty of them had evidence to back it up.

This guy, David Grush, we haven't seen the evidence he provided, but he provided evidence too, and his report was marked critical and concerning, or something like that. I don't remember the exact verbiage.

My point being, while we can't say this is aliens. We can conclude that SOMETHING is going on. Something is in our skies. And now it's likely that some of these craft have been retrieved.

This is all very fascinating.

On the off chance that it is legitimately aliens and it ends up being made public. Well I wonder what that will do to the world? Like no actual contact but undeniable proof that aliens are a thing.

Meh, I've heard of these "whistleblowers" about UFO's before, in the 80s and 90s. I'm going to hold judgement on anything before I know more, assuming there is.

I mean, if there are UFOs? And I think there very well could be, actually? But hey, no surprise. Is it shocking we're not alone in the universe? But it could all be made up too and we could very well be alone. Both possibilities are equally terrifying, IMO.

I'll just say it now though...if any of the aliens do come down to visit and they're all strutting and looking hot like Jessica Alba, I call first dibs. :p

I will fight you to the death. I've never really had the hots for celebrities but Jessica Alba is the exception.

Challenge accepted, HUMANOID. Now fear the wrath of our greatest interrogation...ahem, science tool...THE ANAL PROBE!!!

Heck, it took decades for info on Israel's secret nuclear weapons program to come out, and a couple more decades after that for it to become undeniable.

It's true that keeping something a secret gets exponentially harder the more people know, but you'd be surprised how few people actually need to know the full picture of what's going on to keep something running if you're actually willing to put the effort in.

There is also so much bogus information out there that any real stuff could easily be ignored or go unnoticed.

On the "why haven't we seen any alien technology" front... if any of this is true, it's likely we have.

Ironically, Transformers did this exact trope -- a lot of modern technology, such as fibre optic cables, were reverse-engineered from Megatron's frozen body.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if a lot of the shit we take for granted, or what we see in military R+D, were bootstrapped from ET technology. In theory.

This stuff come up whenever the intel boys think they need a distraction for the general public. I'd say it would be a good idea to sniff aorund to see what this is supposed to make us ignore.
If this is a distraction it's a colossal failure, as the majority of the media is completely ignoring it.

The media that takes its queues from rhe government.

If they wanted this to be a distraction, it would be all over the news.

I don't buy that for one second.

This person took advantage of the new whistleblower rules in congress. This is not a glowie distraction.

Rather, I get the sense that they don't want this talked about. This implicates many of them as criminals.

Military industrial contractors could have, and historically have had, technology far surpassing what the public gets to see, too.

It's thoroughly plausible that they've been keeping a good portion of the tech secret, so they can use it if needed, without adversaries knowing anything about it.

This would be along the lines of what Greer would suggest, but I think that guy is 90% full of shit, with a few ideas that sound coincidentally plausible.

I suppose its possible the aliens are studying us akin to the way we study bacteria, but that's what we'd be to an interstellar lifeform, the nearest star is 33514501492734 or something miles away, them to us would be like a monster truck tire spinning out an anthill

It could be specifically meant to distract hardcore conspiracy theorists instead of the unwashed masses.

Remember what Arthur C. Clarke said about UFO conspiracies.

"I do not know if there is intelligent life in space, but those certainly prove there isn't any on Earth...:
