So much so that Japan has almost double the investment into ASEAN nations than the CCP. With India moving to close the gap.

If China goes hot right now pretty much everyone on the planet is going to feel the heat. Western economies are already in the shitter with double digit inflation and Europe having food and power shortages. China is a basket case, but it aways has been. At best, their deaths throes causes what is likely the largest economic recession in a millenia.

Keep in mind we have Biden in charge of the US, no one in charge of the UK, the least popular leader in France in half a century and Germany is a real mess. Nato civilian leadership is in shambles.

The last one is the only one that is more of a problem for us than for them.

Losing access to Chinese manufacturing will hurt in the short run, but result in a healthier economy in the long run. China starting a war is a great way for any debt owed to them to get written off as part of reparations after the war ends.
