to be fair thats not exactly hard all he would have to do is bribe a tech company and they would gladly hand over all of our personal data. these companies are not shy about the fact that they openly hate the countries that made them rich and successful and have zero problem doing the whole treason thing.

That's the problem with Face Culture, they can never go back on anything because doing so means they loose face.

Propaganda layer PR is one thing now, but here's what is left, at least in the case of government - the Taliban may be USA's enemy, but in the end USA is far away from Afghanistan, while China is going to have them and any mess their create on a little bit of its land border, with the Xinjiang province, its Muslim population, and the controversies involved at that.

Afghanistan's water supply has been fucked when opium was quite a profitable business to grow and suck up the water.
The land was good for crops, once; Genghis salted it and the nation's been fucked since.
Poppies, and cannabis, are some of the few plants economical are actually economical to grow there.
Now the Afghani's do have lot of mineral wealth, but getting it out is an...intensive process, to say the least.
