Yeah but you have to take into account all those military bases and depots that are down river of that dam........... That would be a major tactical hit. And this is not even the worst dam. 3 Gorges is the big daddy of screwed up dams and when it goes that is a mission kill to China.

I almost feel bad for Xi and the CCP; they're trying so hard to antagonize the West, but we're so weak that we just sit there and take it.
Even if we didn't have shit governments the CCP still has to deal with the fact that their government by it nature violates the core values of chinese society on a regular level. As long as the money is there they can paper it over but they are running out of money running out of time and when it crashes and burns it will do so in horrific ways.
