Still every part of the government should be under the FIA. Even if the stuff they can give us is mearly a low detail explanation as to why the documents we want are classified.

Do they? Because if they did, none of what we've been hearing would have come out. Heck, Trump would never have been elected to begin with if that was true.
And yet, look at what happened to Trump in 2020.
I'm not saying their power is absolute. Just that they have power in every corner of society. They are far from desperate.
It's far more likely your other prediction, overconfidence, is the correct one.

Next year the global credit glut ends and the global credit crunch starts. This is their last good year and thats structurally built into the system.

First off, sorry for the delayed response as I’m currently on vacation and unplugged for a week. Anyway.
For those who don't want to watch Tim Pool:
You are REALLY overestimating the size and reach of the USCP. For one, it’s a pretty small organization. Second, they’ve had this power for DECADES, it’s just never been an issue because it’s rare for them to have to be involved in something like this as opposed to the FBI.
Also, fun but true story: Until the USCP went professional in 1982ish, all one had to do was get offered a job by your senator or representative. It was a political sinecure. All you had to pass for a marksmanship test, for example, was to take a revolver out in a field, and as long as you hit the bullseye once, you passed. If you didn’t? Well, you still got the job and the gun, you just weren’t given any bullets. Yes, really.
So, while they’re good at what they do (one of the perks of federal LEO training is an effectively unlimited budget and resources), this kvetching about them becoming some “secret police” is hilarious, especially since turnover in the department is actually pretty high (as with other LEO jobs, it often involves a lot of overtime, which, while it’s good for your bank account, also burns officers out).
If you want to be freaked out about domestic security and whatnot, fine, but you all need to take a minute or two and find someone who actually has been in the system or something who can help you separate the facts from the bullshit. And the internet is full of it. Otherwise you are all stressing yourself out for nothing.
Or don’t, I guess, but just some friendly advice. Take it or don’t, I don’t care. Anyway, dropping off again for a bit again so response may be delayed

I got pissed off when Trump did it…seriously, Joe, shut the fuck up. If you can’t get your agenda through, maybe reassess on why that might actually be, and stop listening to the echo chamber. You barely won against a guy who was massively unpopular, and got the Senate majority only because that guy continued to screw up. Since you apparently know this, you feel the need to delegitimization the upcoming election (which is still more than a year away!) on account of the fact that you apparently expect an entirely deserved ass kicking of epic proportions.
