United States Biden administration policies and actions - megathread

She also has in the past practiced 'spiking' trees, which can cause lumberjacks or sawmill workers to suffer serious injury and possibly permanent mutilation or death.

Got off on the charges by testifying against the guy she did it with back in the 80's.
So not only is she an attempted murderer, she also betrays her own allies when it suits her. Sounds about right.

I will rise to defend the bitch:
1 - IMO what a person argued for in college is not necessarily pertinent thirty or forty years later ...
I know I believed all sorts of weird&stupid shit at that time :)
And I was soooo naive!
2 - forty years ago, when in her early 20s, she was an attempted murderess and made a deal with the DA. How long does she has to repent for that?
3 - as to the cattle - IMO true from a certain point of view.

That aside, she probably is a batshit crazy leftie. Just look at her eyes!

If we had reason to believe she's recanted on her crazy eco-fascist views, I'd agree with you. I've seen no evidence that she's changed anything but the means to accomplish her ends.

Attempted murder should disqualify you from holding a government position forever...
Goodness! You just had to remind me of a AH TL I once read that had Ted Bundy battling Jim Jones for the presidency, the former of which actually already had a few murders under his belt and the later of which was still an incredibly evil megalomaniac.

Yeesh, first Chipman and now this woman. Is assaulting US citizens a prerequisite for the Biden administration?

They see past mistakes where the US pulled out and left all those who helped us behind with no protection.

If we are going to pull out and let the Taliban roll through and take over (and they will,) the least we can do is help make sure those who helped us are safe.
Yeah, this is a move that should have been begun ages ago.

Though the cynical part of me wonders where the heck they plan to relocate them to that will both accept them, and not have people try to radicalize them, like the people who elected Reps Omar and Talib.

If they've been on the ground fighting, or even involved tangentially, I'd think radicalisation is likely a non issue. Reason they need relocation in the first place is that they already made the choice at huge personal expense to do what's right.

I wonder too about the specifics, since 20-100,000 is a pretty sizable fraction of US immigration, but finding them a home where they won't get (at best) executed for standing with America to do what's right is definitely the right thing to do.

It's less the ones who have been fighting/assisting the US, and more thier kids, that I see a potential radicalization concerns with.

They don't get blasted with CRT and Woke shit much in A-stan; those kids come here and it's a different story. Particularly with snti-Semites like Omar and Talib being so prominent in the Dems.

Hopefully thier parents will be able to prevent them from believing the shit Omar and Talib spew.

I guess they could relocate them to Utah; they might actually get on well with the Mormons and Utah is a lot like A-stan, so it wouldn't be too alien a environment.

The 100k number sounds like a case of very generous counting. It would be .3% of Afghanistan's total population. 20k i can believe.
As far as clever solutions go, there is reasonable concern that settling them in USA is not necessarily the best idea. One clever idea would be to arrange some deals for them to work in the US allied Gulf States. Close geographically and somewhat culturally, have plenty of money, hiring lots of foreigners in general, potentially very interested in hiring some people who were trusted to side with US against jihadis and have qualifications to do it.

Last but absolutely not least, lets not forget what kind of propagandizing islamist organizations get away with in the west.

Hopefully they're settled in places which already have established muslim communities. That should help mitigate the culture shock and provide a social network that's familiar.
