The point is that the modern United States is a "service economy". The only thing we domestically produce is a constantly hyperinflating fiat currency. Meanwhile, Russia produces oil and is gaining control of Ukrainian wheat production, two commodities which are actually essential to multiple nations.

Therefore, if nations are given a choice between trading with Russia and getting cut off from our economy, or trading with us and getting cut off from the Russian economy, the choice won't be in our favor and our economy will completely collapse.

Then, on top of that, we have the conspiracy among our oligarchy to seize upon economic collapse to bankrupt everyone but themselves, buy up all actual assets and reinstitute feudalism via company towns and subscription services, acquiring total control of society and completely annihilating the possibility of upward social mobility as everyone spends their entire paycheck of company scrip just to break even on rent.
The economic collapse that they themselves caused. You know, Russia wouldn't have anything on America in terms of exports if our establishment elites weren't actively sabotaging our ability to produce them.

Look, there are simpler ways to say 'I don't know anything about the US economy.'

There's tons of stuff that's still produced domestically, the reason that we're a 'service economy' is because the emphasis changed, not because we don't actually manufacture anything anymore.

Manufacturing is starting to return to the us.

In which case you need to review the Pentagon's assessment, and it's not flattering all; their overall conclusion is we are borderline being unable to produce military goods at all. Do you know how many shells the U.S. Army acquired in FY2018? Roughly three days of current Russian usage levels.

America is currently under going the process of rebuilding our industrial capabilities, this process started under Trump and is going to take over a decade to finish. That said this news probally means subsidies for that rebuilding process.

#4 is the only realistic option i see here.
Even then this is a joke.

Plus, if you look this guy up he is a MASSIVE joke. He (like me) is a Tennessean, but he's a leftist AND a Priest Minister? I mean, I don't expect much from a good christian, but ranting on how women should be allowed to kill babies is not what I expected from a Priest! As a Catholic it would at the very least get you no communion and if we had a decent Pope the chance to get excommunicated, but our pope is a corrupt dickbag sadly. Luckily he's getting old so perhaps a new pope who will take action will appear.

Though I don't know who it will be, but Robert Sarah is my favored candidate, but it seems more likely Pietro Parolin will be chosen.

Maybe he is priest of Moloch? killing children would be his duty then.
And Yes,Sarah would be ideal.

As a somewhat more intelligent elite once said, if you don't make stuff, then there is no stuff.

He is what is commonly known as a "Woke Christian" or "Progressive Christian".

In other words he is your common leftist, but sometimes uses the bible to support the same stances that most leftist would normally use "the science" to support. The Christian trappings are basically just that, trappings.

This from Quora or something? If so, I’m not surprised to see a partisan non-answer like this, sad as I am to admit it.

Otherwise, I wonder what he bases his projections off of? There’s no evidence or reasoning there, just some random assertions that the guy nearing Carter’s unpopularity levels will crush it in 2024, which means the GOP would (somehow) have to do even worse than Biden! :ROFLMAO: (Seriously, though, that makes me wonder if you’d have gotten similar hot takes from perpetually online Carter voters, had sites like Quora existed in the lead-up to 1980.)
