The Senate vote on this was back in August with 60-39 vote favouring this infrastructure bill.
Oh, so this was the reconciliation bill.

Well fuck.

Yeah, I will never register with the GOP or give money to any politician of any stripe after this. Fuck DC, fuck the GOP, and fuck American politicians in general.

Edit: Also, no one should expect a "red wave" in 2022 anymore, not after this; all the momentum from the VA wins just evaporated like a puddle in the Sahara.

Or you know you can vote for the inparty competition against the 13 douchebags.

If I remember right you can do THAT unless you are a signed member so I guess you really are stuck not voting for candidates you didn't bother helping be picked.

Vote the controlled opposition out of iffice
That's a nice thought, but as long as Cocaine Mitch is in charge of the Congressional GOP and two-face McDaniels is in charge of the RNC, the rot will never go away.

And we cannot vote out McDaniel, and Mitch just won another 6 years in 2020.

This is mitch last term and you can make it so he has pressure on him.
Simple as.

Presuming it's Mitch's last term is a bad move, and there is no effective way to pressure him now that he's allowed this bill to get to Biden's desk.
Iirc he even said it was his last term last year.
And easy, just make him the only RINO.

I don't hate the man but he and the other republicans were made for a political landscape that doesn't exist anymore. The civilivity is gone, the question isn't one of taxes or a fight against the soviets the issues are an internal culture war against people who have lost their minds.

Fighters are needed not negiotators so they have to go.

Cool, so now we get taxed on how many miles we drive.
Yeah, if that part actually got through, say goodbye to freedom of movement not to long in the future.

I had hope for a few days after the VA/NJ wins, but now...I do not think our nation can be saved, and may not even deserve to be saved, anymore.

Every glimmer of hope I've seen in the last few years has effectively turned out to be false hopes, and now our future has been sold out even worse than what the Boomers did by shipping jobs to the CCP.

Nah nah.

Everything sucks. No doubt about that.

Genuinely evil people are screwing stuff up everywhere.

But keep up the good fight and don't lose hope.

They hang onto their stolen power by a thread and they are advancing as fast as they can to bring around their own ruin but they are to stupid and arrogant to see it.

Who knows how long the rough times might last but we can get through it and there is a better world on the other side.

The rinos will get voted out. The leftist cities will collapse. The far leftists have already gone too far.

There will be a reckoning.

The 70s were shit too and our parents and grandparents survived that. We can survive this.

Cities (and it won't just be Lefty cities either) collapsing sees me and millions dead, our nation turned to the 'Great Leap Forward 2.0' in order to get the BBB agenda to work, and our nation gutted like the Russia was when the USSR fell apart.

Also, I doubt the RINOs will be voted out, and even if they are, there is no guarantee that a Dem won't take that seat anyway.

I will not give people false hope that things will get better, or that many of us will survive to see it happen if it does.

Good point here; they are likely raiding O'Keefe to try to get at his sources as much as anything.

Project Veritas has been a continuous thorn in the side of powers in DC and the narrative they want, so I'm not shocked they are using this as an excuse to go after him and his sources directly.

No, it was the good infrastructure bill. A bunch of internet idiots just think it was the bad one because democrat fake news is trying to play this off as a win.

In reality however it's passing is a tactical win for the Republicans because the far left Democrats wanted to bind it to the piece of crap that was the "Social Infrastructure" bill. So passing the bill widened the split between the center Democrats and the far left Democrats.
