Somewhat off-topic, but do you think that Poland's Prometheist vision (the separation of Ukraine, Belarus, the Caucasus, Central Asia, et cetera from Russia) would have ever actually been fulfilled had the Nazis never actually came to power in Germany and subsequently sparked World War II?
Rather, the Second Polish-Bolshevik War would not have happened without a war, no less there are some chances if the intended economic boom breaks out in the 1940s and allows Poland to move on.
After all, one must know that our intelligence was poorly financed because there was a shortage of money and, to make matters worse, Soviet Intelligence made our intelligence and counterintelligence to the East a veritable joke.
All reports of Polish spies say straightforwardly that they are tracked all the time by the NKVD and they always know where they are.
And because of the lack of money, the only Polish spies in the USSR were those who agreed to do it for free and for the idea, and all recruitment was explicitly to look for those brave and willing to do it for free.
As long as our intelligence to the East does not get solid funding no Prometheism will matter without a war in which the Bolsheviks are sure to get a beating from us. The USSR yes that it has more men and resources, the problem is that we have been preparing for this war since the first one was over, all our equipment, organization or thinking was geared exclusively to defense against the Soviets.
That's why our fleet looked the way it did. That's why our infantry divisions resembled small corps, and the typical squad size was much larger than in other countries. That's why our airplanes, though few in number, were downright absurdly resilient to damage(to the point where you could crash your plane and it would still be repairable).
BTW I know a series of Polish books that asked themselves this question, unfortunately there is no English translation.
