That 400 meter Mens Hurdle final was epic.
The 400 meter Hurdles World Record was established in 1992 by USA Hurdlist Kevin Young with a time of 46.78.
Karsten Warholm of Norway beat that record two months ago on July 1st with a time of 46.70.
Then in the final heat, Karsten Warholm shattered that record by over three quarters a second, winning the 400 meter Gold Medal with a time of 45.94, establishing a new world record. But that wasn't it.
America's Rai Benjamin came in second, as in within almost a half second of Karsten Warholm with a time of 46.17 meaning he too broke the previous world record. He also established an American record as well as obviously a personal best time.

What a crazy insane race that was.
