Boys, it's nothing more than a wait and see game now, even my Integralist contacts in Brazil are chill for now. More worried commenting on the fact that Argentinians are playing against France. I used to be a fellow-traller of the Brazilian Integralist Front and similars, not anymore. I still hang out in their Whatsapp group though.
My opinion is: we'll have some 20 more years of the pre-2013 PT vs. PSDB theatre, with what is being done to 'far-rightists' being done to whomever threatens to disturb the political consensus. What comes after is the big question though; there might be some personal bias involved, but I think that whenever this order collapses, it will be nasty.

So yes, it will be a long game from now on; people will have to start from the zero and do all that education work that they neglected(and separate the wheat from the chaff; 'rightists' selling 'online courses' is the most frequent grift among the 'right' in Brazil), to get ready for when shit goes down and (more importantly) after shit goes down and the rubble has bounced all over.

Basically the Leftist version of Crazy Videla and the Brazilian version of the Dirty War

By that, you mean the upcoming (mostly left-leaning)liberal regime, or what comes after? For the former, it'll be less bloody than that; for the latter, it has the potential to be far more bloody...
If this was a Tyler Perry TV Drama spin-off: it would be called "Tyler Perry's Palacio da Alvorada" with the unhinged Crazy Whacky leftists wreaking havoc.

How long before Lula & Co., asks Russia, Iran or PRC to have nuclear weapons ? 🤔

That won't happen. Brazilian politicians want two things:

1) To appear to the world as wise, benevolent statesmen;

2) To keep leeching from the public purse.

Nuclear weapons directly violate 1(and hinder 2), and I don't see an external threat enough to scare politicians into ordering a nuclear weapons project to be carried on anytime soon.

Also south America globally speaking is one of the safest regions in the world

Geopolitically speaking yes... we are generally "not enemy" with anyone, basically like Italy...there a reason we didn't get any terrorist attack just like the Bel Paese besides homegrown guerrillas.
We don't get involved in shit that isn't ours. The only shit is between Chile and Bolivia or Guatemala and Belize.

That's actually a massive advantage.

Seriously do not underestimate just how valuable being in a geopolitically peaceful area is in a dangerous world. It means you don't have to start from fucking zero every time some one behaves the fool.

Am I the only who gives zero care to Pele ? Sure he brought us to the spotlight...then?
You're not the only one that doesn't care about him(and ordinarily, I would agree), but people still do. It's kind of like the deal with Roberto Carlos; whatever you think of him, how many Brazilians can remember of a time he wasn't around? That alone means there will be a big commotion when he dies.
