The Americas ðŸ‡§ðŸ‡· Federative Republic of Brazil Discussion Megathread

Yeah this. And also with Bolsonaro falling short of Lula by a mere five percent and with the 3rd and 4th place endorsing Bolsonaro, I can see Bolsonaro pulling ahead. And especially if there were Bolsonaro supporters who instead of voting decided to sit at home, then these results from the first round will probably push them to the polls.
Ciro(4th place) timidly endorsed Lula(his party endorsed Lula, and he made a video where he 'followed the party's choice', without even mentioning Lula's name, IIRC). Tebet(3rd place) is expected to endorse Lula as well. It seems, however, that the candidate's endorsements may not translate themselves into most of their electors voting for Lula. Something to watch for.

As for Bolsonaro's electors staying at home, there will be some change in that as well.

When will the debates for the Runoff take place ? 🤔

And signs point to a Bolsonaro reelection.

TSE(Superior Electoral Court, the Justice branch which is responsible for all election matters), which was being fragantly pro-Lula, just handed Lula's campaign a sharp blow, when they refused to order the take down of a site which collected news clippings on all corruption linked to Lula and PT(previously they were nearly 100% in granting whatever takedown Lula's campaign asked for).

Also:

Polls are adjusting their numbers.

Lula is freaking out and I love it. Hell if I'm Bolsonaro: I might abolish term limits altogether

In the meantime, I do not know why but even Brave seems not show this. Mind sharing local news from Brazil to here?

NO. For many reasons, not least of which Bolsonaro is doing many things that will cause problems for the right in the future.

That news I mentioned(of TSE), in particular, seems to have disappeared from the internet. Put it on the 'maybe' column.
