That battle has been going on for weeks now, since mid-March at least. Pretty crazy stuff.

But not as crazy as the Battle of Kherson apparently.

So many videos of destroyed UkA Equipment, mass surrenders, and advances. So little time.



Well aside from stripping their active troops and Biden opening long forgotten Vietnam Vaults and taking 60,000 Javelins from our own troops, hard for Ukraine to manufacture weapons with factories destroyed, fuel depots blown, and rail junctions hit. Unless you want to stop aide delivery, evacuating refugees, ect to 100% make a last hurrah. Ah, Zelensky's call to make, unless his Generals decide to remove him or Azov pulls the trigger to the gun they hold to his head.



Amazing what having overwhelming air and artillery superiority does. All other arms exist to get the big guns to where they need to be.



Mariupol Seaport in Russian Hands. The factory complex and its adjoining Illyvich complex remain to be cleared. Far more extensive than even I realized at first. Well scrap metallers, line up, it will get sucked up fast so get in line if you want scrap for that project you been putting off.



Looks like a mixture of sailors, the odd marine or commando, and territorials.



If they have them, might as well use them, then sell the tube to a sucker at a marked up price. Whatever is left over can go to a reputable Slavic Business Man who will ensure it gets to those who want freedom.

Well I am cleared to return to full duty as a City Carrier tomorrow after 2 months on my ass and desk duty. Back to 15 hour days because people think a little walk will kill them and dogs are scary. Ah well I get time and a half after 8 hours, double pay after 10 hours. $1.30 each hour I go past 6, and if I work more than 12 hours, its a violation of the contract and the Union will grieve and get me an extra 30 bucks out of the Post Office. I make more than my actual boss does. And I love it. Will post again Wednesday.

Russia mined parts of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, including around the plant itself it seems.

As if that place wasn't hazardous enough already, and now we are mixing high explosives and radioactive waste/processes. The Russians are trying to create a dirty bomb out of the place and keep Ukraine occupied de-mining it.

Patriot a more capable system? You know the long history of failures, crap and failures (again) of that system, right?
At least the S-300 is a capable, if dated system. Patriot? Not so much.
 
A Russian soldier apparently flees from a pursuing Ukrainian drone back to his unit. Said unit is then reportedly taken out when they fire upon the drone.



Slovakia is currently in the process of selling Ukraine two batteries of self propelled Howitzers. Ukrainian troops are apparently already training in Ukraine for the systems. Shockingly Putin hasn't nuked them yet.



'Bob Marley' Unit is a thing that exists in Ukraine.



Unconfirmed reports of a video showing a Russian soldier engaging in child abuse. Video was apparently removed for potential CP. Again unconfirmed.



If you find this notable A reportedly gay Russian soldier was killed in Ukraine. Rest in Peace.

Ah, here they are; several of the tweets in this post have screenshots of the deleted claims about Russian's thinking they were hitting an ammo train.
