How nice of Biden and the Military to leave all these assets just... Laying around forgotten as they left. Just trusting the local Afghans to keep an eye on them I am sure. No way they were warned by people who knew better it might be a bad idea nah, they obviously just trusted the locals that well and had full confidence there was no way this stuff was gonna just be seized. Not like we have massive intelligence agencies and networks who would be able to keep tabs and see this shit coming. I am sure this was a simple oversight that no one saw coming.
Just as unlikely that they were counting on it to make the situation bad and possibly justify going back. I am sure the Taliban won't use this bountiful harvest of taxpayer money and military hardware to do a little trolling around. I just cannot see them using this to try and attack Israel or anything. That would make the situation worse, and require the US and allies to go back in force and fight once again except this time they would have a lot more hardware.
Biden didn't leave those assets laying around. It was the Afghan military. That's their gear. That we gave them. It's disgusting that it's been lost so easily and probably without any real use, but the Afghan army has proven itself to be a collection of thieves and cowards.
As for the gear...the Humvees are major to a third rate military or rabble, but to the US or Israel? Barely even worth talking about. And I doubt the Taliban have the logistics capability to launch an attack against Israel without Israel shoving their fist so far up their ass that they start puking leather. And really, that sort of distance is so beyond the Taliban it isn't even funny. They'd have to drive through Iran, Iraq, AND Jordan to reach Israel.
And then maintain the logistic train enough to be an actual threat to Israel.
The ScanEagle drones are basically a militarized version of a publicly sold and produced drone, so the actual hardware and software on those things are probably pretty basic. The most you might need to worry about is the Russians or Chinese buying them to get tips and tricks on how to make their own...but again, easily available public option and a pretty straightforward design. The ScanEagle only has a flight range of about 62 miles and a flight endurance of about 20 hours. It carries no weapons.
My guess is that they'll break half of them before the war is over and then horde the remaining ones for the next half century, similar to Iran's air force.
