The issue that CW is having is that they are trying to cram every single so called 'woke' theory or want into their Arrowverse, which isn't working as no-one writing seems to actually know what they are doing when it comes to that, Batwoman had a very bad opening year starting with a very small market share then ending the year with only one third (or possibly less) of that share. None of the series are really working well with the crowbarred in diversity and it shows, and now they have even more series coming up and honestly I think they are looking at people giving up as a whole unless they shake up their writing staff and get them writing a comic book series (which is what people actually want to see).

The only series that didn't drop straight down the toilet in ratings were Arrow and Flash and even then both were teetering over the last year or two, which is a shame as more than a few of the actors are damn good at what they do but are being given very duff scripts instead. All of the series are just head-desk in their 'inclusiveness' including race and gender swaps, changes in the timelines, the only reasonably decent changes are the changes to characters to make them good guys and not bad guys, indeed both from the start and later on we see this happen.

Every series had promise only for the network to push agendas that had no place in these series at all culminating in people getting fed up and leaving.

Henry Cavill was always on the way out, he doesn't even really want to be Superman anymore, and he's in the middle of several other roles.

DC will continue to fail because they keep being lazy, and the people in charge of the big Justice League / multi-character moves keep insisting on trying to jump the shark by having an Avengers + level threat and fight seen WITHOUT having the necessary build up in character and plot.

In any case, I'm not sure why there's any more reason to have any hope for D.C. comics, as no mainstream film of theirs has been good in quite a while.

Half right. It should have been curse his lying soul, though. McCarthy wasn't there to hunt commies, he was just trying to cover up for a lie he made that got out of control.

As for the new show, the DC animated stuff is very good, and not woke. They've been pumping out good movies for a while, along with Harley Quinn animated (not the live action stuff), and all stick to canon characters pretty well while being a lot of fun to watch.

Understand that the DC animated stuff has little to do with their live action bullshit. None of the CW's woke crap, the animated Harley Quinn was designed after a long conversation with Margot Robbie to make sure that that the animated Harely Quinn was nothing like the Suicide Squad one, etc.

DC Animated stuff is like that because its meant to appeal to comic fans, not to general audiences.

Also, I think they're crazy to not make the Batman: Gothic setting a video game.

This is a little off topic, so I don't want to have a whole conversation here (if you want to continue this, post here), but basically he was at a small Republican women's group that wasn't going to matter at all, then just held up an piece of paper that he claimed had X number of commies in the state department (obviously they existed the problem was determining which was which). He was lying, because the number kept changing and why the hell would he announce such big news there? On top of this, he was a known liar before this as well. It wasn't even his constituents, IIRC. But it ended up going effectively pre-internet viral and he was stuck. Queue more and more lying to try and dig him out of his hole, resulting in him being a more effective than any commie agent at hiding communism once he was rightfully disgraced.

And Sony's not imploding anytime soon, either. PS5 demand outstrips XBox X demand in every country except China, Afghanistan, and Mexico.

The reason they are moving towards their Western games instead of their Japanese games is because they sell better globally.

Not sure but it says a lot that almost every single person that originally backed her, from the studios to lawyers to political movements like MeToo have dropped her like a bad penny, even some of her friends and family are distancing themselves from her after all this.

I can tell you right now that the games I would consider getting a PS for all originate in Japan, not their western studios.

And that's fine, but you're a minority in that respect.

Sony's Americanafication has everything to do with money. (And a bunch of things inherent to the game industry and how it has changed over time.)

To put things in perspective, Sony sold 9 million PS4's in Japan between February 2014-2021.
Meanwhile, Nintendo sold 19 million Nintendo Switch's in Japan from March 2017 through 2020.

Japan just isn't really a top market or a priority for Sony anymore.

Plus, demographic realities mean that the Japanese market is likely to shrink over time.
