How do you miss a point this badly?

Conservatives constantly "warn" progressives about what if someone pulls out a magic uno reverso card and their hate speech or w/e law or code is applied to them instead. Can anyone name any examples of this ever happening?

No you missed the point, because you don't understand what I am getting at. I don't think they'll always exist, I am saying that if you set the precedent- it will be used against you. So you don't set the precedent, or better yet set a good one. I don't think it is a hard concept to treat people as you would want to be treated, in hopes that when someone else gains power over you they might extend the same courtesy.

And we all know, the left eats its own. As soon as they slip their laws get applied to them. Further, they are the ones in power- those laws never apply to those in power- it is only once they lose their power is that it becomes a problem for them. This is why they are warned, when someone else gains power they might be in the vengeful mood. And no one is arguing that there is a magic uno card, it is only that in the long scale power shifts and if you piss people off- they'll turn your own tools against you.

*an additional edit, I should also clarify that I mused it might be correct to oppress people on this basis- since they wouldn't play ball and it is 100% apparent that they would not pay back good treatment with good treatment.

I'm well aware of this line of thought, and was specifically rebuking it in my original post. I don't care whether or not you want to believe that they'll always exist - empirically, we've seen that when people are arguing for removing them they are either the people who will be putting their own blasphemy laws in the opposite direction or useful idiots fooled by them.

And if you can, as I asked earlier, show an example of that being true. Of laws the left creates being applied to them in a right-wing fashion (e.g., not by someone further to the left) after they lost power, or a law the right created being applied to them in a left-wing fashion after they lost power, where those in power could not have just passed such a law themselves.

Well thank goodness they'll be censoring those problematic Confederate flags in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto remasters. Its only one of a plethora of little "censors" they've done while 'remastering' the game.

As I hear (though haven't investigated for myself and could be BS) they axed the old versions from digital stores as well.

Arcane (TV Series 2021– ) - IMDb Never played the game, but the animation seems great! Watch or pass ?

Deathloop - I think I heard from 1 Youtube channel video that the protagonist voice actor is one of those who believe black characters should be voiced by a black person but found no clue to substantiate the claim; though the game does look like some SJW or mentality had influence in the creative process. Play or pass ?

Watched a let's play of deathloop. No real SJW stuff in it. Its just a game about the MC stuck in in a time loop trying to kill his targets to get out of the loop. Can be repetitive some call it boring. He just happens to be a black guy. I say get it on a sale.

I was talking about the voice actor. I watched some also, so far the dialogue by the protagonist voice actor seems solid.
Funny thing is the game is ALREADY on sale. 39 instead of 59. I guess it isn't selling THAT well.
