George W bush has just refused to endorse Trump, I see this as a good thing for trump and the republican party.
I'm operating under my SB name and still have not had any run ins with the mods. There are definitely a few poorly motivated idiots on the mod team, but SB has been very consistent in its methodology of "Cause no problems, have no problems." That obviously breaks down in the more confrontative forums like Whitehall and Versus where active moderation is required and the report button is a weapon, but everywhere else its pretty easy to get along.Honestly at this point, if any of the SB moderators made the connection between who you are here and there, youād be banned in less than three minutes.
Political realinments suck, the republican party after Dubya burned all of the things collapsed and died and has been reborn as some thing saner, the democratic party is in its current state getting ready for its own collapse and destruction. No one knows how its going to shake out but things are not going to be the same.
Ayup, what no one in politics is willing to say out loud is that the Democrats and their associated groups resoundingly smashed the Republican and conservative alliance in the opening years of the 21st century, largely thanks to neocon incompetence. You see a lot of people bitching and moaning about the need to banish the Right to the wilderness for a few years without realizing that its largely already happened. Modern technology has allowed for faster turn around times in political thought circles and Trump staked his claim at the center of what used to be the Republican camp first. Everything otherwise unique about today's hysteria is an artifact of legacy media and the greater 4th Estate attempting to triple down on obsolete messaging tactics in order to remain in control. It makes for chaotic and interesting times, but it's honestly a lot more normal and less drastic than many make it out to be. This had to happen eventually and no one gives up power willingly.Indeed. After Dubya, the Republican party was at its lowest point and remained that way for a few years. Then we got newer and younger members who were sane to join up and revitalize the party. I truly believe that if the Democratic party had done something similar, then this nation would be far healthier than it is today in terms of political discourse. But the Democratic party has been infiltrated by the intersectionalists and they're trying to take the party down a path of authoritarianism and division based on race, color, creed and whatever else they can. Its caused more than its fair share of problems. This, coupled with the fact that Republicans have finally found a spine for the first time in 50 years and thus we see the result. The question becomes, can we maintain our momentum after Trump has his second term in office? THAT is the question.
Good, that's one of the best endorsements Trump could get.George W bush has just refused to endorse Trump, I see this as a good thing for trump and the republican party.
I remember when the Patriot Act passed. It was the first time my family had ever been shaken by something a Republican had done. We still spent years justifying it as necessary, but as we moved into the Obama years it became steadily more apparent how much Dubya screwed us all. It was a humiliating lesson and I'm grateful that it only cost conservatives eight years as we likely deserved more.I see this as fantastic and most of the party will too. Though it does amuse me. Just ten years ago the Left was calling Bush every name under the sun. The worst part? They were probably right. because the guy was a warmongering murderer. I've had to eat a lot of crow and come to terms with my support of him so many years ago. I chalk it up to be young, patriotic and easily manipulated because of that.
That's not an easy thing to admit, but the truth rarely is.
Only better endorsement would be if Chenney and Rumsfeld started talking shit about him.Good, that's one of the best endorsements Trump could get.

To do so the Republican Party needs to keep the Country Club/ Chamber of Commerce types out of the party power structure. Those were the ones responsible for the 50 years of weakness.Indeed. Bush deserved to be locked up in my opinon..
I dunno about you, but you guys are living proof about how this Left-Right Dichotomy is bullshit and just cause youāre on the latter, doesnāt mean youāre not above criticizing your own politicians for their screwups
Yeah right wingers are just as divded as the the left maybe even more so.
We not the great hivemind that Leftists claim we are.

And when you include the context of what I'm responding to, you can see I'm referring to someone talking about that Reddit stepping down so a black person can take their place. When I posted the screenshot and even provide the context, nope, goes right over their heads.
Yeah if those morons have already made their minds up there's no changing their view on something.Accepting that you were making a valid point wouldn't give them the same emotional gratification that denouncing you as a racist does.
There's....at least three people I've seen who can be linked to their spacebattles accounts with zero effort. Growing tempted to make a "SpaceBattles derangement syndrome" thread on the obsessive stupidity that people here display towards the website.Honestly at this point, if any of the SB moderators made the connection between who you are here and there, youād be banned in less than three minutes.
I agree that those are good values and I try to live according to all of them.
However, I don't think that contemporary right-wing politics necessarily show all those principles. This is a cheap shot, but one only has to point to a certain president of the United States - clearly those values aren't always there in practice!
Why are you discussing Warhammer 40k here? We have a thread for this or you can just debate with UA on SB.I caught you lying, UA. You said that the Emperor is not against all aliens and is willing to talk with them and quoted Horus Rising and left out the part that shows the Emperor's policy was to kill all xenos. And Horus' response was that the Emperor would adapt and throw away his anti alien policy. Now this was all years ago, though you still were shown lying.
Abaddon was not smiling. āThe Emperor, beloved of all,ā he began, āenfranchised us to do his bidding and make known space safe for human habitation. His edicts are unequivocal. We must suffer not the alien, nor the uncontrolled psyker, safeguard against the darkness of the warp, and unify the dislocated pockets of mankind. That is our charge. Anything else is sacrilege against his wishes.ā
