1.Nixon affair was at least partially made by CIA - first Pentagon Papers,later Watergate.
2.Church commitee in 1975 proved,that CIA broke many laws in their MKUltra , CONNTELPRO and SHAMROCK operations.
3.According to prof Peter Scott,Deep State was formed using Vietnam war as pretext.They first saved China,and later tried to save soviets.Nixon was used as scape goat for them - and it worked.
They also made vice president Spiro Agnew resign,and choosed Gerald Ford as successor - when Nixon himself prefered Rockefeller or Reagan.
Nixon was used and tossed as their tool.
