This is out of context. Putin said that

1. Poland was hitler's ally. and hitler gave them land from another country he conquered, with a deal where he gets a certain strategic piece of land he needed. they happily took the deal but then backstabbed him out of greed. This forced his hand into attacking them

2. He argues repeatedly that nazies and hitler are russia's enemy whose goal is to genocide the russian people.

Disclaimer: I am not agreeing with Putin. just pointing out what he was actually saying
1.Indeed,he lie that Poland retake Zaolzie in 1938 as german ally.Sadly,it is not true - we retake our lands becouse our leaders thought, that Poland is superpower.
And,Putin is wrong aboug Gdańsk,too - city belonged to germans then,so Poland could not refuse to gave up it.

2.Yes,he lie again - soviets had alliance with germans with secret agreement to divide Poland among themselves.Somethink we never had with germans.

Strange, why he lie in so stupid way - both german-soviet pact and papers from 1938 are in internet now, everybody could check it.

Like the parts where he says all he really wants out of the Ukraine issue is de‐nazi‐fication?

you just proved you didn't watch it lol. Find me this Nazi apologism. Because there's one piece floating around the internet about how he feels WW2 started, and it's complete bullshit that takes it out of context, because he is condemning naziism the entire time.
And lying that soviets do not have pact with germans.
But,it is not his biggest lie - vikings created many russian states before 988AD,but they have notching to do with current Moscov - that state was created when they served mongols as servants to opress other russian states.
When they kicked out, notchig changed - still everybody was slave there.Only difference was that tsar was free and could impale or boil alive his enemies.

german tsar civilized that, but was wiped out by soviets, and now we have soveks there - which,in fact, are notching more then slaves from mongol times.

Which is another way to also phrase it in a blatantly deceptive way that in the context is an open way to grind a political axe. It's like saying "Americans invaded Normandy for the same reason Hitler did".

A neutral way to say this would be "Poland opportunistically took its own old territorial claim after Munich was signed with the logic that now that Czechoslovakia is pretty much doomed, in the end it will be them or Hitler taking it and neither Czechoslovakia nor Hitler felt like it was a good moment to contest this". But trying to word this in a way implying that Poland was a party in Munich Agreement alongside Axis powers and in turn their ally, when in fact it wasn't the case, is plain historical revisionism, and with the rest of Putin's comments we know he was in fact trying to somehow bullshit Poland into being an ally to Axis. Though this specific piece of revisionism is less Hitler apologia (another may deserve that title), and more Stalinist historiography recycling, because the line Putin presented in such claims is oddly similar to it.
Yes you weren’t Allie’s to Germany you were wary of each other because you were rivals. But couldn’t your same argument be used for the Soviet Union when they invaded Poland? After all “The Soviets merely opportunistically took part of Poland otherwise the Nazis would have done it. They also only had a non aggression pact they did not have an alliance.”

Not since the Ribbentrop-Molotov pact existed, and especially the secret protocol to it.
It wasn't opportunistically grabbed from right before Germany's nose, it was a pre-planned and mutually agreed upon deal.
Classic stuff, Russians accusing others of what they did themselves.
Naturally after the war it was inconvenient to Stalin's historiography, and so in the east it's something that was put under the carpet until 1989, and even then it wasn't something comfortable to discuss:

Stalin's Falsifiers of History and Axis negotiations

In response to the publication of the secret protocols and other secret German–Soviet relations documents in the State Department edition Nazi–Soviet Relations (1948), Stalin published Falsifiers of History, which included the claim that during the pact's operation, Stalin rejected Hitler's claim to share in a division of the world,[250] without mentioning the Soviet offer to join the Axis. That version persisted, without exception, in historical studies, official accounts, memoirs, and textbooks published in the Soviet Union until the dissolution of the Soviet Union.[250]

The book also claimed that the Munich agreement was a "secret agreement" between Germany and "the west" and a "highly important phase in their policy aimed at goading the Hitlerite aggressors against the Soviet Union."[251][252]

Denial of the secret protocol

For decades, it was the official policy of the Soviet Union to deny the existence of the secret protocol to the Soviet–German Pact. At the behest of Mikhail Gorbachev, Alexander Nikolaevich Yakovlev headed a commission investigating the existence of such a protocol. In December 1989, the commission concluded that the protocol had existed and revealed its findings to the Congress of People's Deputies of the Soviet Union.[241] As a result, the Congress passed the declaration confirming the existence of the secret protocols and condemning and denouncing them.[253][254] The Soviet government thus finally acknowledged and denounced the Secret Treaty[255] and Mikhail Gorbachev, the last Head of State condemned the pact. Vladimir Putin condemned the pact as "immoral" but also defended it as a "necessary evil".[256][257] At a press conference on 19 December 2019, Putin went further and announced that the signing of the pact was no worse than the 1938 Munich Agreement, which led to the partition of Czechoslovakia.[258][259]
So when little Vladimir went to school and had the history lessons that he has remembered so diligently, he was certainly taught the Soviet, self serving version that's missing the inconvenient parts, but it's not the 80's anymore, considering his position and previous job he should have known better by now - though i don't know what narrative do they teach about it in KGB schools, guess it's what Putin said.

Vladimir Putin babbling for thirty minutes on Russian history actually could be a neat idea for a thread idea. The average person can speak at about 130 words per minute so roughly 4000 words per half hour.

With all of these memes about, the attempt at writing up a four thousand word speech or prose off the top of your head whose main goal is answering a question after a prolonged lore dump of a journey could be a neat concept. Especially with all of the references to "obscure" lore in Lord of the Rings and Battletech and whatnot being tossed about.

You know I'm starting to wonder if Vladimir Putin and the warmongering Democrats are in on it. They gain sooo much in the respective countries they rule over back home from being able to play each other's "boogeyman". It's actually kind of ingenious dare I say.
They are using 1984 as a playbook. and it explicitly has 3 communist mega countries who intentionally keep things balanced to keep a perpetual war state to justify what they do to their citizens. all the while collaborating with each other

The ghosts and children of the Khans laugh at Putin, and if he wants to play that game, so can Mongolia.

I guess that would be one way to settle a lot of 'Central Asian' disputes.

IIRC, they even think they found Chingus's grave some time last year, so maybe his spirit is no longer...resting.

Tucker Carlson: So Bulgarians have had some of the lowest support of NATO's policies in Ukraine and seem more supportive of Putin's policies yet the government has been generally supportive of it. We are going to speak with a leading Bulgarian opposition member and see what his opinion of this is. We ask that you keep an open mind. Welcome Boris. First... Random Bulgarian on the Street: Is this a conversation or are we having a serious discussion? Let me take thirty seconds or a minute to establish the historical context of what we are talking about here. Tucker, this is the planet we all live on. Near the edge of the European and Asian continents is our proud nation. It borders Romania, Turkey, Greece, North Macedonia and Serbia. Our Bulgarian Republic is populated by approximately seven million people with more than a million of them living in our Capitol of Sofia with the Balkan mountain range that bisects the country shares its name with a wider Balkan Peninsula. And the region dominating our northern border is the lengthy and girthy Danube river which has played an important role in the Region's defense trade and agriculture. It gives us a temperate climate and ample amounts of fresh water which was to the benefit in many cultures living here far back into the region's prehistory. The Hamangia and Varna were early notable material cultures that thrive there. The artifacts they produced demonstrate a superior level of metallurgical and sculpting skill for the time various early cultures rose and fell and evolved in the region. Tragically the most we currently know is very little about the descendants of these early indigenous-
