Tucker Carlson Leaving Fox News

I know its a joke but Chinese didn't own Taiwan until the late 17th century, the Portugese and Dutch have an older claim to it than China does.
And spaniards too,if i remember correctly. They had few forts there.

Heh, this would be fucking hilarious if sanctions on Tucker happened because of his actions in meeting with Putin.

How is what Tucker did against the Russian sanctions?

Seems doubtful in my opinion. Both Tuckers story and thus the possibility of legal action.

This is a story he told on Lex Fridman with the implication being that this was ridiculous and would be a serious violation of his rights as an American Citizen. It would not be "hilarious" and would be further proof of a government totally at odds with its founding principles and its people.

It would be a phenomenal way to make him the most famous living journalist.

never underestimate how spiteful, petty and vindictive these people are.

Your words betray you.

Yeah, there's no decent legal grounds for it, unless it's a money thing we don't know about.
That's what in saying.
That's where I think the sanctions will come from; I expect Tucker had to exchange funds with someone/some group on the sanctions list to make this interview happen, or during his 'shopping trip'/tour.

Like what? Exchanged for Rubles?

I mean maybe the bank he exchanged at was sanctioned, or the market chain, or certain products he bought, or maybe some of the 'fees' the Russian bureaucracy likely imposed for this.

I'm just guess that if any sanction violations did happen, it's in the realm of finance issues, not 'speech' issues.
