The question is, how does the right keep their populist movement from being infiltrated and corrupted like the Tea Party was?

Was the Tea Party corrupted? If anything it seemed that it ran out of steam before evolving into the modern MAGA movement after marrying a bunch of reformists.

You might well be right. I'm not an expert on the matter, but it does seem that the MAGA movement is essentially the Tea Party itself or its successor.
Regardless, the question remains the same; how to prevent the Democrats/RINOs/Deep State from mucking everything up?

The MAGA bunch are a good deal more alert than their predecessors, and aside from RINOs there's little to worry about. Dems don't really care much for what goes on internally in the GOP.

The tea party wasn't corrupted. It actually was a incredibly successful grass roots movement.

The problem was that when they crushed the democrats in the midterms the Republicans did nothing with it at all.

The messaging went from "we need to take the senate and the house to make meaningful change" to " well, we really need to get bigger majorities to resist meaningfully".

It was just moving the goalposts by Republican leadership. And that got to be very discouraging.

One of Ted cruzs big speeches at the time was blasting the Republican leadership in the senate. Saying that based on how they had caved on everything Obama wanted to do that there wouldn't have been any difference if the democrats had control of the senate instead.

It really sucks when you work hard and passionately to get "good" people elected and for them to just utterly waste it.
