He emphasized it a choice and that our freedoms are important, however he still is shilling for the vaxs and acting like they are a feather in his cap because of how quick they happened.

My biggest beefs with Trump are that he is so fucking egotistical, and doesn't know how to get the right people (even if it sounds like traitor Pence controlled the staffing), and he keep touting the vax's while pretending there are no serious side-effects from them.

Part of me feel like Trump is in this for himself, his ego, and his bank account now, while having acted as a 'Pied Piper' that brought together a lot of groups the elites want to get rid of/suppress/drive from society.

I'd feel better with DeSantis in the Oval Office, with the support of Trump, than I would be having Trump back in there again.

I mean the way he and his people are always trying to hit up 2020 campaign donors to fund his rallies and such now, and the way his campaign harangued donors during the campaign.

The campaign seemed like it rarely crosschecked their donation lists when they sent out texts or emails asking for money, where you'd get redundant, sometimes rather aggressively worded texts/emails asking why you didn't donate, when you just donated an hour or day ago. They never put in the real effort to crosscheck that stuff, had the 'money bomb' 'double your donation/make donation recur monthly' buttons at that were auto-clicked and had to be 'opted out of' in every damn donation transaction, and they used the names of GOP members/Trump family members falsely in mass texts to make it seem like it was some big shot personally trying to get money for Trump.

There is a reason I never went to a rally, or accepted the many 'invitations/contest entries' for trips to rallies or meet Trump, and it's because as bad as the Dems are/were, I didn't truly trust the Trump campaign was being honest instead of just trying to get as much cash as possible.

Plus, that doesn't change that the Wu Flu is endemic now, and thus most, if not all, measures taken against it will be futile, and just excuses for power grabs.

The only real way for us to not let the left have total power grab next election, is if in a state with heavy push against the unvaxed to stop them from voting, get the vax.
If not, don't worry a out it.

However, with mail-in available, they would have a much harder time justifying banning the unvaxxed from voting to a court, particularly SCOTUS, which is where I expect most of those sorts of actions will end up being either struck down or upheld.

Of course that assumes SCOTUS even matters anymore, because as we've seen with the 'eviction moratorium', the WH can simply ignore SCOTUS if they feel the media and Congress will give them cover to do so.

Yes, I am very aware of that, and I understand how the Left will likely try to ram thing through so SCOTUS has a hard time ruling before the election has happened.

However the Left would not change their tactics in this regard no matter what we do (even if we had a 100% vax rate and the vax's had no side-effects), so I see no reason to play their game regarding the vax's, nor give Trump a pass when he reinforce's their narrative by praising the vax's while ignoring the side-effects.
