Transgender runner CeCe Telfer has been ruled ineligible for participation in the upcoming Summer Olympic Games 400m Hurdle Event due to 2019 guidelines regarding testosterone levels of which she was found in excess of in the leadup to these games.

In 2019, CeCe Telfer became the first Transgender woman to win a NCAA title while a fifth year student at Franklin Pierce. Prior to that, when she competed as a man, she ranked 200th and 390th in Division II Mens Competition in 2016 and 2017. Now undoubtedly due solely to hard work and dedication, she's considered one of the best Female competitors in the same competition a few years later.
