her I'd bow to out of politeness and respect for her gravitas and grace, not as a subject (as I'm not British) but because I think she deserves that respect. I'm not so sure however if I'd do the same for her kids.

To clarify, as a modern American, I would never bow to British royalty.

I'm sure I'd have a different perspective if I were born hundreds of years ago into a monarchy.

What makes you think his ancestors are British? America had people come from other nations than england.

To bring back the topic of women in video games, a common issue is their skulls are elongated beyond what women have in reality.
Because neoteny is very prized in selecting a mate with humans, women generally have more sphereoid 'shorter' skulls (ironically it reduces skull volume, guess what that does).
If you look at the women in most modern games, they mostly have rather 'long' skulls that look like they were modelled after men, which ends up making them look uncanny.

It'd be like seeing a 6'3 male protagonist in a game with a dainty lil skull that was fit for a 5'1 Japanese lady.
 
I wonder if the skull thing is because the creators do it as a short cut to save money developing the games these days?

Giving a character any particular skull shape is piss easy, like 'save maybe 100 bucks on a project of millions' sort of money saving.
It's intentional, and has been explained by multiple game developers in the past as 'intended to not upset the transgender population'.

And thus, why the colony became known as the Virginia Colony, and then the Commonwealth of Virginia upon secession from England.

In fairness to him, my ancestry is almost an even split of English and German (from Hesse-Cassel if that helps).

That said, if the current me was in front of the Queen Elizabeth I in her day and age, I'd probably try and become the court wizard using future knowledge to safeguard my person.

Or be immediately executed.

Probably wouldn't get much chance to bow.
