The War in Afghanistan

Russia is in ongoing discussions with the new Taliban government and at the moment it is Taliban forces that are guarding the Russian embassy. Russia made the statement today that they are not worried for their Central Asian Allies at the moment as the Taliban have assured them "We have long been in talks with the Taliban on the prospects for development after their capture of power and they have repeatedly confirmed that they have no extraterritorial ambition, they learned the lessons of 2000."

With that said the Russians also stated that the situation was obviously fluid and they'll keep an eye on things.

Meanwhile in the Panjshir Province, Amrullah Saleh, a Vice President of Afghanistan and Ahmad Massoud, the son of the famous "Lion of Panjshir" Ahmad Shah Massoud, are planning on bringing together all of the anti-Taliban leaders and their forces here where the Resistance is apparently in still control of significant portions of the area.

Also Hamas has sent their congratulations to their Muslim brothers in the Taliban for throwing off the American occupiers of their land.

“Today Taliban is victorious after it used to be accused of backwardness and terrorism. Now, the Taliban is more clever and more realistic. It has faced America and its agents, refusing half-solutions with them. The Taliban was not deceived by the slogans of democracy and elections and fake promises. This is a lesson for all oppressed people.”

A Hamas delegation recently met with a Taliban one in Doha, Qatar and they even posed for a photo op together and the Taliban representatives congratulated Hamas on their "victory" in the eleven day War they had with Israel earlier in the year.

Of course the Taliban are scared of the people who can preform assassinations of specific targets without having to blow up the village or apartment block to do so.

They remember Putin's words. "We do not negotiate with terrorists."

I wish them all the luck in the coming war. They'll need ever bit of it.

You do know we can also kill targets without taking down whole building righr?

I've seen the future...
What was Obama gonna say? He knew Joe was gonna fuck this up, he said Joe couldn't be trusted before. The only advice Barry could give is "resign".

They were literally deluging Obama’s instagram with calls for him to “DO SOMETHING!” About the Afghanistan debacle. I guess some still have faith in their own appointed “messiah”…. 🙄.

I wish I was joking.

I know. The ninja bomb Hellfire.

But it's only been around since 2017.

So for 15 years out of this 20 year conflict, you guys have been making really big bangs trying to kill one person.

Secret U.S. Missile Aims to Kill Only Terrorists, Not Nearby Civilians

I surprised the US didn't come up with this much earlier. It's just a slightly more advanced flechette bomb TBH.
There are plenty of ways.
Just because you don't know of them doesn't mean they don't exist.
But I am mainly referring to small teams

All the arms captured by the Taliban need to be destroyed with air power. B52s, Superhornets, F15s, Cruise Missiles etc. Rain Death on those captured bases.
Yeah, once the airport is evac'd blow the fuck out of any ANA equipment above small arms in Taliban hands.

When we entered A-stan, the Taliban didn't even have an airforce to speak of; now they get all those nice COIN planes and helo's we sold/gave the ANA.

Letting them keep those once our people our out of country would be the height of folly.

Yes they did, they had dozen operational MiG-21 and Su-22 (used regularly against Northern Alliance), similar number of helicopters and several transport planes.

For that, the USA would essentially need to start the whole operation by establishing a military governor, colonial style, and don't bother with the charade of Afghan democracy and self-governance. But we all know that the US political class, media elites, nor any western politicians and UN officials could not stomach such a way to do things. Even if it worked. Especially if it worked.

That is kinda my point. US (and the West in general) are essentially buying their own BS at this point, and it is preventing them from implementing solutions that actually work.

I'm surprised they were still flight-worthy, to be honest.

And, let's face it: The stuff we gave the Afghans are pretty much like the "monkey model" shit that the Soviets gave their pawns in other countries. Under Taliban control, the Taliban are more of a threat, yeah, but that'd be like upgrading David's stone and sling to a catapult while Goliath still has full metal plate and a fuck off huge axe the size of a Ferrari.

There is a fierce debate amongst scholars whether word salat people should be thrown of a high building or burned alive. Due to lack of tall buildings in rural areas and scarcity of firewood in arid areas, the old fashioned stoning was proposed as traditionalist alternative.

I'm surprised they were still flight-worthy, to be honest.
They were cannibalising the non-flying airframes and Pakistan was also supplying spare parts from China and Ukraine. Air crews and maintenance personnel were former DRAAF personnel and Pakistani advisers.

No we are.
We just like to do it more flashy
...By leveling entire city blocks at the worse, one entire building at the minimum. That goes against killing targets without destroying the entire building.

What's Taliban's position on LGBT rights? I don't expect things to go sunshine and rainbows.

Did you also see the one on pol about an afghan girl's onlyfans account?
Yeah, he/she is dead. As soon as they find out, they'll burn them to death or something.

That Afghan Only Fans girl? Unless her thirsty simps donate enough for her to be privately extracted or something, she's going to be killed or stoned or something under Islamic law as a whore. So, yeah, I wouldn't accept any cheques from her.
