Sadly not an actual update but writers' block and exam revision is a bitch. Still, hope you can enjoy!

Map found on page 25 of the American Geographic Society's Young Explorer's World Atlas (2329 edition), a popular middle school textbook in Anerican territory, labelled "The United States and Surrounding Nations". It follows the usual protocol used in United States territory for the disputed areas occupied by governments hostile to the United States.

How much of Canada has been integrated in truth by this point? I can’t imagine there’s actually an occupied land border between the US and NCR; if there was we’d have heard of fighting there.

Basically up to the uninhabited parts of Ontario and Quebec in the Canadian Shield, which are technically under US authority but nobody lives there so it's pretty much a moot point. There are all sorts of tiny villages who are under the E-US but whose only meaningful contact is a vertibird or cargo plane which flies in every six months to deliver supplies.

You can note that the map works on the de jure borders, with its only concession to de facto realities being the big slice of land marked as under rebel control. If it was going off pure de facto, Texas and the NCR would be shown as independent and western Canada would be written off as "wilderness" like North Mexico and Central America.

Judging by this map, the US doesn't seem to be aware of the Alaskan Brotherhood of Steel. Though they haven't really been mentioned since the couple of chapters that mentioned them in Tales from a New America.

I haven't rewritten that part of AM yet, but I'll make it more clear that they were collateral damage during the Battle of Boston at the end.
I remember that in the original, the Battleship (I don't remember the name), in one of its naval artillery shots, hit the Old North Church, where the Railroad was hidden.

Credit to whoever made this because it immediately brought forth long forgotten memories of middle school geography. I can smell plastic and old glue of the book this would come from.

Well, glad you like my work. I prefer making in-world stuff to the more dry OOU material I was doing before.

The NUSA is very near to enter in the Mojave or Southern California... I can't avoid think... How gonna act the Enclave once arrive the Vegas.
Depends on how which horse Mr.House decides to back when the wolves are at the door. Odds are that his substantial security systems is still online and one way or another fully under his control. Add that into all the pull a control freak like him will have in the area and thinks will get interesting.

If I recall, they don't actually control all of Texas and New Mexico yet. With fighting in Texas still being fierce.

It's just marked like that on the map because the Lone Star Republic voted to rejoin the Union.
