Almas as neandertal - possible.
Nahanni valley - since nobody live there permanently,some hidden tribe could survived there.Question is,are they indians or somebody else?
P.S There are hot springs there,if they had them in their caves,they could live there by winter.
Then we could have hidden tribe in caves.Only question is who they are,neandertals,something else,or just regular indians.
Which one,normal lead by some hunter,or from some bad movie - full of blond beauties who could be molested by bad cannibals?
I remember some 20+ years horror movie,where speleologs who come to caves in South Africa meet tribe of cannibals,who of course wanted some woman,too.
Forget title,but MC with his GF manage to run.

Naw, I've seen that movie. The sensors will get lost during a river crossing or break down shortly after they get there.
Based on movies about them, I'm pretty sure every Cryptid out there has a symbiotic relationship with Gremlins.
Rogue waves use to be thought of a tale Sailors told. And didn't believe them. Then they discovered not only were the Sailors right but that Rogue waves were and extremely common event. Just goes to show. People in universities don't know as much as they think they know.
Edit: Just wait until the Eggheads realize that Giant Whirlpools are also not a tall tale and Ship eating versions are very much a thing.
Bernard Heuvelmans belived,that sea snakes not only exist,but cover few species among reptiles,mammals,fishes and sometching else.
He is probably right.
For a long time I have believed a sea going version of Titaniboa was very possible. A giant sea snake would have large fish, sea turtles and marine mammals as a viable Prey source. But for some strange reason scientists keep trying to shoe horn the Oarfish into being the origins of sea serpent tales. Even when said tales stated the creatures would attack and eat Sailors on ancient sailing ships. Oarfish don't do any of that.

Scientists like having things in neat organised cubbyholes. This way they can point at something and say it came from this and this. Nature, however, is a dirty messy pile. Where stuff moves around and does all sorts of interesting things because it likes to spread out and go for new territory.

So what do you guys think of skinwalker ranch? I never took it very seriously, especially not because there's corny docuseries about it.
But Shawn Ryan had the owner on his podcast recently, and it's got me pretty intrigued.
I think it's safe to say SOMETHING is going on there. Not necessarily paranormal, could just be advanced tech. But I think something is happening there.

My mind has not changed. I still believe that when Titaniboa was swimming through swamps. A related species was exploiting the lack of large seagoing predators in the shallow coastal seas. The Marine Reptiles were only starting to rebound (Yes Mosasaurs and other Sea Reptiles of that time sailed right trough. Just not all over the place.) And a giant snake would get big fast. Just look at how the Crocs rebounded after the KT Event. So with a family of Giant Sea Snakes spreading out all over the world. They would be a be able to get into all of the Folklore of every Civilization on the planet.
I think it is evidence of a Parallel Dimension. Physics already allows for such things.
Could be. I'm super intrigued by the events happening there and am hoping they excavate the Mesa and see what's under that ground.
