Breaking News The Brexit Election

Finally Brexit by Jan 31.

How will they deal with current immigration and crimes related?

Even out in the open and exposed, the police won’t do anything

What’s stopping them from re-entering after his term’s over?

The EU, their very structor makes it nigh impossible to get shit done and oh yeah Italy's banks are set to explode as are spains and they still haven't recovered from the great recession.

Though admittedly their still in better shape then china who is going to be dealing with some thing much worse.

Romanticism is something that can and will ignore all those problems

Though that maybe something more for middle to upper class types to think or feel

You will have to worry about the previous generation and the old generation who will be working in universities to indoctrinate stupid 18 year olds

Consider what you like about Farage but he's not wrong. Adolf Verhofstad or Guy Hitler or however you want to spell the jumped up authoritarian wannabe-shit's name, I certainly envy the UK their exit from the UK as they get to be free of him and his meddling. Ever since the Lisborn Treaty, I've been suspicious of the EU and with the Article 13, them lying through their teeth about not creating a European army while trying for that exact same thing for almost the last two decade amongst other things has driven me to loathe it. I'm saddened to say that my people, the Irish, are lax and going along with it but I can only hope that the spirit of my people that had us resist UK rule for about eight hundred years hasn't left us and when the Troubles 2: Boogaloo rolls around when the EU shows it's true colours, it won't take as many years of bloodshed to win our freedom a second time.

Glasses man looks salty. Where's the EU army to back it up?

What’s the difference between Populism & Democracy? I think I hear the term Populist put on dudes the Left doesn’t like
There's no difference, you only get voted in if you appeal to the base after all. Promising more safety nets, more free health care, more free college, that's not populism, just part and parcel of democratic campaign.

But telling people you intend to cut safety nets, roll back health care to the previous system that worked better, and expect students to be responsible for their own life-choices, oooh, that's populism!

Basically, one does everything it can to “help” people even if it means messing over the economy and over complicating things

The other promises to lessen it’s “help” because it realised people can do better without their complications

Also, for the latter, they will probably actually allow people to have guns and defend themselves and in the end prioritize their native citizens over the rest of the world’s population or the population that is coming over

Populism is, I've found, typically a label to accuse a democratic politician of being a demagogue. It carries the connotation of appealing to the baser elements of human nature instead of higher ideals, with tragic results likely.

Therefore Trump's anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim rhetoric is termed "populist" because it is seen as appealing to the biases of non-immigrant, generally Christian American voters. The same for Brexit politicians like Boris Johnson, as Brexit is also seen as fueled by the biases of English voters (especially those in rural areas or England's own post-industrial rust belts outside of Greater London).

Baser elements of human nature rather than high ideals?

I guess it’s because they like to paint all anti-immigration as being horrible bigots and pro-immigration as DIVERSITY

Being in some fantasized alliance or romanticised union is also a “higher ideal” that’s totally not some tyrannical empire just because supposedly voting matters.....just whose votes matter because people from far away and in larger numbers but nevertheless away from them are gonna be deciding their fates

I’m not British but I gotta say, those Brits are finally waking up from said romanticised high ideal, doesn’t mean they have ideals or plans for a better future, they just don’t feel like subjecting themselves yo a sovereign tyranny is the best way

So, it's done.

...And the rampaging tantrums on our primary sister site are delicious to watch. :ROFLMAO:

I really do think this is going to be a contributing cause to the EU as we know it's dissolution. Without the UK, which was one of its primary financial contributors, the rest of the member states are going to have to pay more in.

Many said states have incredible financial difficulties already.

Who do you think will be the next domino to say, "fuck this shit, I'm out?" Austria?

Saw this on a youtube comment

“Brexit will leave the UK weaker, poorer, more divided, less influential, less attractive to the rest of the world. Some evidence is already in. According to Bloomberg Economics, by the end of this year Brexit will have cost Britain some £200bn in lost economic growth – nearly as much (adjusted for inflation) as the country has paid in to the EU budget over the entire period of its membership since 1973.”
