Breaking News The Brexit Election

Well then, I guess the UK can deal with the Remoaners too

They really tried getting the British people into that romanticized koombaya Star Trek federation pseudo-socialist ideal "alliance"

What's stopping re-integration within this lifetime? or the next few years?

The fact that 'Remoaners' are almost as bad as people with TDS in the US has hardened cultural attitudes against the EU for the near future.

And the EU doesn't really have a long-term future. Some part of it might exist fifteen years from now, but I'd be surprised if the EU as a whole exists at that point.
Probably inertia from the government just not deciding to try; and it's probably dependent on the post brexit situation as well. If it does all go horrible then we might see a pushback to return to the EU, and if it goes well then we might not, Honestly I think that inertia favours us staying out, the post war conditions that spawned the EU have evaporated, we're not in any real danger of another pan European conflict ripping apart another generation of men; we generally get along pretty well with each other. Whether that will continue into the 2020's will be another thing.

On the contrary, I think that the pending financial collapse of the EU will result in the next round of European polarization. The various nations will be pissed with each other, and one way or another, it's going to get ugly.

So, it's done.

...And the rampaging tantrums on our primary sister site are delicious to watch. :ROFLMAO:
It's ironic; if EU supporters like them had just taken criticisms of the EU and how it was being run seriously, before all this started, Brexit probably wouldn't have happened. Instead, they decided that the complainer is always wrong, or at least massively exaggerating the issue, and convinced their opposition that the only realistic option was to cut their losses.

Is this because the UK has left so they need a scheme for members to pick up the bill?

Yes and probably to keep doubling down on their attempts to reach their idealized romanticized Star Trek Pseudo-Socialist society that Patrick Stewart doesn’t like that his former nation is abandoning

Also, gotta stop disappointing Greta Thunberg

Honestly, I think the BREXITERS are glad they don’t have to deal with that extra tax

Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.

The European farmers won't be happy.

They’re rurals and last I checked they also have guys amongst them voluntarily giving away their land to the migrants

Voluntarily after visits at night
Don't look down on them for being rurals. Who's going to supply the food unless you import it?

If I was Alex Jones this would be touted as a scheme to tell people to eat bugs to conserve the environment while rich people eat fine meat and laugh at the idiots.

To begin with this just makes their whole “globalism” ideal much easier

Why produce locally when you can get people to make food for you abroad?

Same with labor? Why do local when you can do abroad and you also solve poverty abroad

Only works until the money runs out.

Only works until the money runs out.

Then just print more money and tell the people to live on social justice, that they have to wait a few more days of being hungry for GAIA

Greta Thunberg could even shame all those now starving masses into doing it too

Say, how many British companies, of the larger variety are actually happy with Brexit?

TBF, the whole run out of other people’s money will eventually work, but even that can be delayed

The Soviet Union took quite a few decades to die and yet Socialism-Communism policies are still liked around the world

It maybe living under socialism and even fascism which’d keep some generations from falling into those traps like the Polish

The same may intersect with Environmentalism, they may get sick of the doomsayers too and decide that if they’re gonna be environment friendly they do it their own way

Britain maybe headed to this path of not falling for romanticised extremely-centralized totalitarianism

You really do it so much people get annoyed with you.

You're like this one user on SB who used to post articles of doom.

I don't know if he found a job after graduating he said he had troubles with that.

Okay, just so you know, pseudo-pessimism is my default behavior

Kind of a side effect of having to deal with family constantly suddenly forcing me into things

That said, I do believe things will get better for Britain, just have to wait awhile. Course again, everything can change within less than a generation, I’m somewhat of the belief that things run in cycles but technology is a game changed

Regardless you will get called out for your daily doom and gloom if that's what you usually post.
