I have a very broad idea of what's considered on topic and do get dinged for it from time to time. In this instance I'm acknowledging both that and the fact that some equate Arab with Muslim without making any distinction between people from different population groups.

The guy who cleans the gas station restrooms knows a whole heck of a lot more about how to efficiently clean a public bathroom than I ever will and I know a whole lot more about why the things are placed where they are than he ever will.

Imma agree with you, however, because I admire his contributions to history, Imma also note the first black baseball player was probably in 1879. I do that entirely to bang his drum a bit because he's not nearly recognized enough. That's compared to, say, Jackie Robinson who gets a ton of cred despite being decades later than several other black players I and feel William White deserves more recognition than he gets.

EDIT: My daughters have more confusing throws than Jamie Moyer. They can hit 90mph. He could not. His fastball was 80mph on a good day and he was an MLB starting pitcher for over two decades.

A gal who plays softball at the highest levels has to worry about and deal with a 70mph underhand throw when she's in the batter's box.

Due to the differences in field size that's basically 105mph from an MLB pitcher. There aren't a whole lot of guys who can throw a ball that fast.

When you're in the batter's box, you're just guessing when you're facing someone good because you have less than half of a second to react.

Let's be real, the refs bailed Alabama out on a clear safety, which should have led to them losing 21-20. That game was a pure struggle win and exposed cracks in the Tide. Texas was playing with a backup, gimpy QB, thanks to a cheap shot by Alabama, and almost pulled out a win. This is not a victory for Alabama to be proud of.

Alabama can never top Washington University in St. Louis because they don't use Francis Field when they're the home team.

The WUSTL Bears wouldn't stand a snoball's chance in hell against either. Wash U doesn't offer athletic scholarships and the tuition is slightly more expensive than Ivy League tuition.

My youngest recently said that she wants to go to WUSTL "just like daddy and aunty did". That's about $250,000 before things like room and board get included and Clayton, MO is not cheap.

6-7 of the players involved in a typical NFL football play are about the same size as my 16 siblings and I (5'11-6'0, 190-200lbs). They're the defensive backs and wide receivers.

College football players are still growing, smaller, and haven't yet reached their physical peak.

An average American man is about 5'9 and 197lbs. A lot of the guys you see playing college football are on the athletic side of "Joe Average".

Oddly enough a homeless person almost never makes a mess of a public restroom. They need that restroom and can't afford to be told "Don't come back."

It's the people who are afraid of them who usually make the nasty messes that a clerk having a bad day gets tagged with "You're it, go clean that up."
