You would not expect Botswana to have a heavy metal scene in much the same way that you would not expect an all-white old-timey baseball team from a place in Maine that used to be called Nigger Island.

If there's a national ID, a significant chunk of the urban population will quit using a driver's license and the states will lose massive amounts of money. If ID is required to vote the driver's license is obligated to be free to avoid poll taxes as the states will lose massive amounts of money.

It always comes down to money.

Neither. Both were a lot of avoidable and unnecessary bloodshed.

If I have to pick a favorite it would be the Anglo-Zanzibar war. That one was over and done within less than an hour.
