Hopefully not being able to be a slut will keep at least half of the demorat-invaders out of red states.

Honestly women have had a plethora of birth control options for generations now.

So its probally a much smaller number. Things have changed since the 1970s and most women can go their entire lives with out having to even thing about getting an aportion.

I think, for a few, it's all about the power they hold. I can do this! So I want to keep doing this. Why should I put my career/fun on hold for a screaming brat?

.....

Just use birth control there are a whole bunch of options here this stuff has been around for litteral generations now this isn't rocket science. In fact if your sexually active use condoms period just because STDs are a thing.

As always, if you're starting from the assumption people can't have enough self-control to keep it in their pants, why would they have enough self-control to use a condom?

Because this isn't rocket science. And this isn't new just use common sense and you will be ok.

First, I will say that I'm pro-choice.

Even so, my corporate overlords have just send out emails to all employees saying that they'll reimburse travel expenses in case a US employee needs to travel to a state that allows abortion in order to perform an abortion. That makes me feel uncomfortable for some reason.

This will not work in modern society, and it barely worked before too. Forcing people to fight down basic urges, going against human nature, NEVER works out.
Part of it is that dumb stigma against masturbation, virginity, and anyone that dares to protest against said stigma.
Remove said stigma and somehow actually properly encourage the opposite approach for minors and things will go much smoother.

You need a real sex education program to teach that, apparently pro-lifers tend to oppose this too.

A lot of that opposition would disappear with a national open standard that doesn't encourage anything aside from precautions and safety and which minds ages.
The only sex education a 10 year old needs for instance is how to identify and handle the presence of sexual predators and what to do if they are a victim.

It didn't work perfectly, sure, but it resulted in a healthier, more stable society than what we have now. The normalization of promiscuity has been one of the key attacks on the family, and one of the most destructive cultural shifts in American history.

And not even just for what it has done directly, but also what it has done indirectly. It has also pushed the line of thought that 'if it's hard to resist temptation, you should just give in,' as well as trying to ignore and down play the long-term negative consequences of gaining short term pleasure.

Of course, if we want to go with your basic argument here, it's also a basic human urge to violently lash out at someone who offends our pride. Is going against human nature like that NEVER going to work out?

It's more that sex ed in the US is basically 'Here are all the ways to avoid getting pregnant' and 'this is what an STD will do to you'.

Nothing about healthily carrying a child to term, nothing about how to protect the fertility of males or females, and a lot of stuff that verges on grooming in some more Lefty leaning places.

'Abstinence-only sex ed' is largely a myth and joke outside a few parts of the very-far right, as most reasonable people on the Right will just promote making sure you use condoms and don't get into hook-up culture.

Probably b/c it's incentivizing abortion.

Now, go ahead and ask them if they reimburse a woman for carrying a baby to term.
