Russian Invasion of Ukraine 2022

Unconfirmed reports Russians have an American general in custody

Yeahhhhh no.
A US General in Mariupol. Apperently working with Azov.

Huh for an Army that is cracking down ok these things how did this man become a general.

Fun fact a simple Google search and prove that the title they have got him is wrong

Story of a two year old Ukrainian toddler killed by Russian fires.

Presumed antipersonnel mine with tripwire left in a residential building in Bucha. Toy car nearby for some reason.

Reported video of Russian forces firing on civilian bicyclist.

An elderly Ukrainian Woman returning home to find her relatives that were looking after her dogs all dead.

The DeNazification Efforts by Russian backed Nazis... Yadda Yadda.

Apparently the Hackers Group Anonymous leaked the basic private information of over a hundred thousand Russian soldiers.

A Russian KA-52 Helicopter was supposedly shot down by a Ukrainian Stugna-ATGM whilst hovering about.

Also a video of a destroyed KA-52 being dragged out of a field, unsure if same one or not.

Crazy stuff regardless. I was so happy when I was able to do that in a Battlefield game. :sneaky:

Hey, look, the Ukrainians are doing so well that they have to beat up civilians and steal their cars.(sarcasm)
This is not how a victorious army or state acts, this is how rats in an electrified cage act.
Just thugs lashing out in desperation.

Reported video of Russian T-72B3 Tanks left burning near Izyum.

Ukrainian artillery striking a Russian convoy somewhere in the Donbass.

Ukrainian farmers tractoring away another pricey TOS-1 Missile Launcher.

More details on the Switchblade drones/loitering munitions the Ukrainians will be receiving from the United States. It'll be about a hundred drones including ten of the heavier 600 series drones.

And in happier news, footage of an Ukrainian soldier returning to his family in previously occupied Irpin near Kyiv.

I am also calling bullshit on this. Because If it was true, then why the fuck have not any of the Russian embassy accounts or official Russian government sources gloat about an active duty US General being captured?

Yeah.
The US would also have made comments as well.
That is definitely false info until proven otherwise

If it were me, I would keep the capture under wraps, just so as I can sweat the fucker for a few days and make the US government wonder what the hell happened to him.
However, I find the story of this guy being there somewhat dubious.

If anything, they would have transported him out of the theater of operations immediately once hostilities broke out IMHO.
And with someone that sensitive the USA would have pulled out one of those stealth Chinooks.

And that leaves aside the fact that US generals are high-ranking bureaucratic animals that would never risk themselves out in the field like that.

Anyway, here is some confirmation for my theory about Azov being turned into informal commissars for the regular Ukrainian Army.

We wouldn't sweat.

One for the potential rumor mill. Russian forces could withdraw behind the Dnieper to consolidate and strengthen the areas north of Crimea.

More information on the Czech T-72 tanks and BMPs being sent to the Ukraine.

Chernihev Border Outpost reoccupied. That's... Gotta be a fun shift...

The graphics for the new Wargame/World in Conflict sequel is looking nice!

Disciplined Chad Chechen Troops showing virgin Russian Naval Infantrymen how MOUT is done!

Humm, I thought that they'd need to send at least a colonel to deal with Azov.

There's nearly zero chance that any US soldiers are in Ukraine right now doing training or advising or anything else, and if they are they're be lower ranking ones. Staff officers wouldn't be working with individual units, they'd be with the larger military command structure.
