Russia-Ukraine War Politics Thread Mk. 2

Zelensky has a very good point that I've never seen the pro-Russia, or just the anti-aid for Ukraine folks who want peace at any price; why should they trust any deal made with Putin when they know they cannot trust him?

So, would any of the people pushing for Ukraine to accept a deal that gives up land to Russia to end the fighting like to explain why they think Russia and/or Putin can be trusted to hold to any deal made, when the leadership of Ukraine and most of Ukraine's allies have no reason to trust Putin or Russia either?

By this argument you should never ever have a deal with any western country.
Since their politicians are evil and cannot be trusted.
Do you even know just how many countries has USA backstabbed?

Also, my argument for anti aid is not "putin is an angel". it is "get your hands out of my fucking wallet"

I've seen the same smiles on Kim's pleasure division. They smile or they are punished. Would you volunteer your sexual services to a senior officer? Russia treated its troops as slave labour and sex slaves in peacetime. It's worse now
facepalm. that is not a "pleasure division".

Also the whole "forced into sexual service to senior officers" thing is based on... one single case where a russian woman approached the press with the story of
> general wanted me to be his slut
> I said no
> he tried to intimidate me
> I said no
> so he gave up and transferred me to another division
> he never laid a hand on me.

And then she went to the russian news and they raised a big stink over it.
We have more cases of western press raising a big stink about similar allegations in western military too.

Not saying there are not any cases of sexual exploitation in either western or putin army. But calling them "pleasure divisions" and that assclown on twitter claiming majority of the russian women in military are sex slaves is just making you look like clowns

It's called the Rule of the Grandfathers instituted centuries ago by the Tzars. I was speaking of male soldiers. There were thousands of cases filed against the Russian Military before 2010. Even more that investigators found but were never reported. Those cases were suppressed in the name of wartime morale after the invasion of Crimea. You may love Russians, I don't. I hate them second only to my hatred of the mainland Chinese.

Kim has a pleasure division. An entire division of young women 16 to 22 whose sole quality is beauty. They were started by his father. As a means of reward and control of high ranking officers.

That you don't know about two topics that are widely known and documented I'll chalk up to willful denial.

Facepalm.
1. That is something completely different from your previous claim of women serving as "pleasure divisions" in Russia. Or that assclown on twatter just linked a few posts ago saying almost all russian women in military are sex slaves

2. "rule of the grandfathers" is not an actual "rule" and it certainly was not an official institution of the tzars.
Rather, it is the name of a "tradition" that is CALLED a rule, that started during USSR. It started and is perpetuated due to them conscripting felons from prisons. And it centers around the homosexual rape of new conscripts.
Kim has a pleasure division.
Kim isn't Putin. North Korea is not Russia.

At this point you are just randomly throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks

Well, ships hitting naval mines in Romanian ports; sounds like Russia is attempting a mine-blockage of Romanian ports, or it 'drifted there' on 'accident'.

Yes because clearly mines breaking lose of their anchors and floating away is completely unheard of in the history of the world. Clearly this much be intentional by the Russians as part of a plan to intimidate Romania via a half assed plan with a single mine that completely doesn’t run the risk of just pissing the Romanians off.

Yes, that was sarcasm.

Lol. Saboteurs blew up two planes and an alligator attack helicopter in Moscow. Right next to Putin's nuclear command plane. WTF? Why was there only security on Putin's plane and none in the rest of the airbase?

You can't even drive near a NATO airbase without getting intercepted by military police. Russians. . .

Armenia and Azerbaijan are fighting again.

This will also have an impact on Russia...

Russia's BAM Rail Line might become unusable

The BAM Rail line is a parallel rail line to the Trans-Siberian line. It is supposed to be safer to use but flooding on the Kholodnaya River has ruptured a dam and the subsequent outflow has washed way part of the BAM Rail line.

"The flood destroyed the dam. Due to its breakthrough, the movement of trains on the BAM was stopped, 200 meters of the railway track were washed away and 10 poles of the contact network were damaged."

KEY NOTE FOR RUSSIA
According to Alexey Tsydenov, a regional governor, "The damage to the country's economy from idle cargo will amount to billions of rubles, plus the cost of restoring the railroad."

Outside of the pure loss of revenue is whether this transportation issue will prevent movement of any war material that Russia needs to prosecute the "Special Military Operation" against Ukraine.

If we are talking about swx acts in the military.
Should we post the blow job shot from the drone?

Also, according to the ISW,
Ukrainian forces are on the verge of a major breakthrough of Russian defences on the southern front near Verbove and Robotyne.

Ukrainian armour and IFVs are now operating beyond all significant anti-tank mines, dragons teeth and anti-tank ditch defences along the so-called “Surovikin Line”.

According to the ISW:
Ukrainian forces are for the first time confirmed to be operating armored vehicles (Stryker & Marder infantry fighting vehicles) beyond the Russian anti-tank ditch and dragon’s teeth obstacles near Verbove.

This is a significant change for the war effort as a spearhead through Russian lines will shatter their ability to hold off significant armoured forces.

I will get the picture latwr

A lot of people who don't come by the War Room thread would not know about the mounting number of deep strikes by Ukraine into Russia occupied Crimea and into Russia itself.

Hitting that landing ship and the Kilo was a huge morale issue for Russia, and the logistics network behind the Russian positions has been getting gutted with increasing alacrity. The mobiks barely have any bullets or shells near the front line, because Ukraine has been winning the counter-battery battle and reducing Russian artillery more often than the Russians can hit UA arty. Knocking out the Russian air defense network is also a big help, and it seems between SF raids and Storm Shadow strikes have been doing a number on it, while the suicide drone-boats have been steadily fucking up the ability of the Russian fleet to remain in Sevastopol or the Black Sea in general.

People make hay about the grain issue, but it's mostly an issue of the fucking rail gauges between Ukraine and most of Europe being different more than anything.

Makes normally routine transhipment much more complex and grain sitting in warehouses does affect local exporters more than grain just passing through; only so much silo and warehouse space open to use for the UA stuff.

Now the whole thing with the supposed hitlist shit is more...damaging if they actually put people like Musk, Posobiec, and western citizens in general on it in ways that directly hurt Ukraine's international PR.

It's one thing if some arms merchant or logistics/commercial shiester from Eastern Europe, who is double dealing directly with Russia to evade sanctions, ends up dead. Same with people like Lira who photo-graphed UA GBAD sites and tried to hand it directly to the FSB; the fact Lira is still among the living is showing Ukraine is rather merciful to western citizens who support Russia. However, some of the NAFO shits and people like that PR tranny took shit way to far with openly talking about hitting western citizens just for believing Russian lies.

However, I think ATACMs is something we should give Ukraine, and should have given them it a year ago, same with the F-16s. Though maybe it'd be simpler to see if we can help get Ukraine more Storm Shadow's and launchers for them, instead of add another thing to the very tangled and complex logistics chain Ukraine is dealing with.

So, one aspect I have learned in the Army.
UK have a lot less strict ROE for thier weapons.
So why thwy have sent long range before us

This does not surprise me at all; the UK knows damn well what a resurgent Imperial Russia would mean for them.

Plus, the Bongs are a lot less afraid of Putin's nuke threats than the US is, and frankly with Storm Shadow on the fields, ATACMs is kinda redundant, and less accurate and less stealthy.
