i always use the potions. i do forget every other consumable. remembering to throw the tangle foot bags is hard.

I tend to be overly cautious with wands of wishing when playing nethack.
It's 2 blessed scrolls of charging, a magic marker, and a cloak of magic resistance if I don't already have one. I sometimes forget that I've got a wand with at least two more wishes in reserve and die from something easily avoidable.
