If Everyone is f'ing Drizzt or... uhhhh one of those goody Warcraft Orcs, then I guess they'd stop being exceptional.
Especially true when 80% of the adventure is just added casual fluff and non-relevant character banter and totally neccessary and overly long combat encounters.
