Oh man, that Egyptologist Dr. Zahi Hawass decided to speak out on this Netflix Documentary as well.

What a guy. I remember when I was young, watching the first episode of
The Amazing Adventures of Zahi Hawass (yes that is what the show was called) where Dr. Zahi Hawass was mentoring a bright eyed group of college aged American students who were following him around on his archeaological digs. In the very first episode, the cutest of the co-eds, Zoe somehow got lost in one of the pyramids and Dr. Hawass singlehandedly went out to find her and successfully rescued her from the Tomb. I thought it was the silliest thing I ever saw pertaining to Egyptology.
I didn't know then that Dr. Hawass was the Hero we deserved, but now he is the Hero we need. I can only hope he confronts this Docuseries with the same passion, zeal and strength he had when his vehicle broke down a few episodes later in the middle of the desert, forcing Zoe and Him to trek across the rocky dunes alone until they encountered a friendly tribe of... I don't know... Fremen or something who loaned them camels. This was all before the new discoveries they uhhh discovered in Cleopatra's Tomb.
The best part is that there were like four or five other students in the group but none of them were as hot and nubile as Zoe. And it turned out Zoe wasn't even an anthropology or archaeology student but just an actress with an interest in anthropology. Good times.
What was the point of this?
Oh yeah... Netflix... bring back this seventy five year old guy doing creepy Indiana Jones shit (shouldn't be too hard since they are making a movie with an actual eighty year old Indiana Jones doing Indiana Jones shit) instead of crappy Docuseries produced by Will Smith's Wife. I
get that she was a Navy Seal or something but that doesn't give her license to crap all over history. Thank you for your service, Dr. Hawass and Lieutenant Pinkett-Smith both.
