No longer in the shadows, Pentagon’s UFO unit will make some findings public

Despite Pentagon statements that it disbanded a once-covert program to investigate unidentified flying objects, the effort remains underway — renamed and tucked inside the Office of Naval Intelligence, where officials continue to study mystifying encounters between military pilots and unidentified aerial vehicles.

Pentagon officials will not discuss the program, which is not classified but deals with classified matters. Yet it appeared last month in a Senate committee report outlining spending on the nation’s intelligence agencies for the coming year. The report said the program, the Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Task Force, was “to standardize collection and reporting” on sightings of unexplained aerial vehicles, and was to report at least some of its findings to the public every six months.

i wonder what they found, other countries super secret advanced aircraft ? natural phenomena ? alien ? time traveler ?

Probably just other powers secret stealth aircraft tbh.
The issue with the videos recently released, is that the way they are moving and flying defies physics as it applies to our known technology. If they are another government's tests, they are working with completely mysterious and unkown technology that's so advanced that it's almost as fascinating as if it were actually aliens. The maneuverability of these "craft," is ridiculous. They are changing speed and direction and going in and out of water at speeds that are pretty hard to explain.

So I'm not saying aliens... But maybe some other weird natural phenomenon is possible. Or aliens.

Not aliens. Probably some weapon or vehicle we tested and deemed not worthy for some reason.

What I do find curious is these leaks being published in the NYT and other “reputable” sources.

Of course they haven’t convinced anyone of anything, though that of course remains to be seen.

That’s not what the reports say they are? Unless your admitting to us the pentagon is conducting a psyops campaign?

I would do no such thing

Admitting the Pentagon is engaged in psychological manipulation of the American and world public? Or that the pentagon would do such a thing Because if they are “training vehicles” and the pentagon is saying their unidentified and letting the public believe it might be aliens, it can only be a psy ops campaign.
It is neither, I am just going by the most logical thing.

It’s probably demonic entities. That, or ducks. Either /or.
That's a fairly common attitude in certain Christian circles. I don't disagree mind you per se, but I find it overemphasized, and often basically putting different values on new agey stuff.

"The UFOS are ascended masters", "no their demons who will lead us into the great delusion".

Its not wrong, per se but its basically looking at New Agey dreams and saying "well from predispensationalist pre trib eschatology, this bad".

Not to mention, the article I just read-misunderstood evolution.

Because the whole "great delusion will involve ascending/evolving to a higher plane as its key point", when that's not evolution as its understood in science, but basically a theological lamarckianism.

If Grey like figures did come and tell us all about how Jesus was actually like an ascended teacher and why Christianity is really really bad-sure, then its demonic as hell itself.

Its just basically taking New Age strands of Ufology and shoving them into a Christian eschatological framework, which I find to be somewhat lazy and poorly considered-same with the Maitreya or Islamic eschatological frameworks getting a Christian overlay.

And then we find out that CS Lewis was right....

Even though I am irreligious, there is something I find hilarious about his scifi stories being true. Probably because it would throw everyone a curve ball.

The "Aliens are Demons" does have some theological support. There are accounts of people invoking the name of Jesus when encountering "aliens" and the beings run away.

Frightening fact-famous occultist Aleister Crowley in an occult ritual claimed to have encountered a being called Lam.

This...being looked exactly like how modern Greys are depicted.

At the same time, often times it comes from a disdain for modern science and popular culture(its all Satanic!). An attitude all too common in many evangelical circles.

Which is why I'm somewhat ambivalent on it.

I find it hard to belive that the government is hiding aliens from us.

Simply because I do not belive our government is nearly competent enough to pull that off.
That depends on just how much of our government knows about aliens...and how much of the whole story they do know. I think its plausible, even if I highly doubt the various conspiracy theories about alien collusion, to think that there are things that only a tiny portion of the government knows about, which are probably hidden behind various dummy projects or black budget military funding.

A mix of stealth aircraft, weapons tests and ball lightning.
There ways a famous UFO a ways back that was probably the running lights of a B-2 spirit being left on.
