Do you have a twitter account? I found my way to it by clicking on one of the fact checks I found.

Note that you apparently gotta wait for a little while after signing up before you get selected for whatever it is, but I'm fine waiting. In the meantime, click on the fact checks and rate them. I looked at the number of ratings on the fact check I rated, and it was a tiny amount (less than 10, IIRC). So the ratings you do have an actual impact in causing lols.

Thar's why they're so pissed about it. That blue little mark was the sign of supposed superiority. Something they could lord over the proletarian masses. And yes, some of them paid (a lot more than eight bucks!) under the table to get that, uh... "blue privilege".

And now any pleb can buy it for just a few bucks.

That infuriates them. It's like... blacks being allowed to sit in the front of the bus! Or vile self-made parvenus being allowed to reserve a table at an expensive restaurant. The horror! Don't the lower classes know that the special positions are reserved for the elite?

As to the journo exodus, well, who cares, the majority of the user base will probably stay where they are.

The exodus of some moronic advertisers is what should worry Musky more.

I've neverhad a twitter account, and aside from making cool space ships, don't give much of a fuck about Musk, but I do like that he bought twitter and is making these people ree so hard. I've been considering making an account, too.

Considering the behavior of some of our own Twitter addicts as well as of the Blue checks and other leftoids on there I am concerned about long-term cognitive damage, too.
