None of us would be speaking right now. And the nukes the US had back then weren't doomsdays devices yet, so you could have a Stalinist Europe that would have stretched from Vladivostok to Marseille to Milan to Athens for all we know. Not to mention the Soviets not taking all of Germany screwed Europe in the long run and also partially the US, because now the Germans run the show in Europe and ruin it (fourth time is the charm I suppose!) since their politicians despite knowingly being aware of the geo-economic centrality of European economies to their country they are castrating themselves and in turn, everyone else.
