Pretty sure the stuff from 12,000-13,000 yo was a cometary bombardment epoch at the end/near the end of the last ice-age, not a polar shift.

You had meteor fragments whacking the Earth every few years as the progenitor of the Tauriod meteor stream broke up and established the debris's current orbit. Woudl have cause Chelyabinsk/Tunguska level air-burst and impact winters when things actually made it through.

I think analysis of things like Gobekli Tepe and such keep missing an obvious possibility; the pits and large stone pillars may have held up the roof to what was a primitive fallout/air-burst debris shelters.

If those tunnels were built thousands of years ago, it's unlikely they were done in anticipation of dangers that we need modern astronomy to even know about - and vulnerable modern infrastructure to worry about.

Given that the associated auroras were visible in the tropics, bright enough to read by, and could fool people into thinking dawn had come, noticed, yes. Had a direct material effect, not so much.

Well, hitler was against jews. who are "nazies" towards poor innocent muslims.

mao is literally their hero. A communist, and one they openly call a righteous person.

most leftists I talked to about communisms insisted that stalin was the only evil communist leader in history who "gave communism an unwarranted bad name" and is guilty of any bad thing communism ever done.
With mao being a good guy, who at most made a couple of mistakes out of good intentions. Possibly even attributing any of his faults to stalin too.
