So the big question is who recognizes that castle?

who is she?

It's just a Castle bro.

I think it's the Bastille so technically a castle IMHO.

Def not the Bastille. The castle shown is technically an armory.
Hey man, OP knows what likes. Dream big.

Castle is The Armory which is currently owned by a company that runs it as a BDSM sex dungeon. apparently now it's an event venue.

Goth Girl is Jewel Eeves, recognizable because of the moon tattoo on her throat.

I'm sorry I enjoy having stuff that makes sure we have the protection and fire power we need while maintaining us as a super power.
Remember, the F 22 has not shot down any enemy aircraft and when ever it is deployed our adversaries calm down.

We make sure we don't have to use it.

Uh huh. You might enjoy being a tax slave for globalists and constant wars, but I don’t. And most people are getting sick of it too, tin man.

....defense spending is literally benefitting the US....
How is having a military that has an AF that is basically untouchable a bad thing? 11 carriers to protect its shipping lanes.

Like I am confuse.d

It's mass theft and socialism. No, it doesn't benefit the US as a whole. At best, it's a hedge against negative stuff happening to the US, but it's in no way a positive benefit to the US.

And a good deal of military spending isn't even spent on stuff that makes the US safer, but instead on things that just give us more enemies.

Ok, yes, a defence is needed, and having a strong navy helps trade a great deal. There's a large amount of influence, as well, sometimes that's valuble, too.

The current scale of US millatary? That's Imperial levels, and that's far beyond what currently helping the US citizens. There's massive waste, there's operations that make problems (More CIA and State Dept, sure, but still.) and the only way to make that whole thing work without so many issues, is to become the Empire in truth. Or pull back to the US, instead. (And cut that all back, of course. Different scale for different needs.)

An open Empire would just take their cut, offer protection, and that'd be it. The US's current setup? You have bases in heaps of nations, but officaly, they're just allies. Most of them aren't under any sort of threat, too. The US taxpayer just pays to have this stuff, and doesn't get much back. There's a bunch of things like that. Random arms supplies to groups that might be allies, but often just won't be. (The US had a part in creating ISIS, the Arab Spring, the Taliban and more. Now you're fighting most of them, or were till you lost.)

The current situation's so full of lies that random internet yahoos can see it, even when we can't see what the real truth is, in detail, at least.

We have been over it, you keep pretending we haven't.

Defense spending is how the USA gets better military hardware.
However, it is structured such that the taxpayer pays for everything while the oligarchs own everything.
Is it a waste to create the most advanced fighter in the world?
Are you seriously attributing this to the graft where politicians line their pockets at the taxpayer expense?

Also, they literally were not commissioned to make the most advanced fighter in the world. They had the most advanced fighter in the world, were commissioned by the military to create a budget airplane for mass deployment. And instead made another super expensive plane instead.

While embezzling 75% of the development funds, and then selling this airplane all across the worlds to other countries, diluting the USA's military advantage... and the funds from the sales didn't even go to the USA govt, it went to line the pockets of billionaires.

So realistically, we are looking at over 90% embezzlement... that also happened to develop the most advanced aircraft in the world... at 4x the time frame than planned.

And you are literally defending the mass embezzlement on the grounds of "well they produced results" (although not the result they were asked to).

I assure you the embezzlement was not a positive contributing factor for the results produced.
there was a multi page discussion before and after

I love how liberal hot-takes are such low bar humor some times.

What’s in the books liberals?

Funny how they don’t want to talk about that. Though I suppose some of them have just been fed talking points by their activist teachers and don’t know what’s in those books. Of course, some of them do know a heartily approve.

To them especially I say ‘please face wall.’

Actually they're probably building them because of the ongoing polar shift and the weakening of Earth's magnetic field.

Eh, bunkers can be multi-purpose/multi-apocylypse-proofed.

Gear needed to survive a nuclear war can also help if we get another Carrington Event level CME or worse sort of space-weather, like say the asteroid Apophis hitting it's keyhole a few years from now and coming around to smack us later without being diverted/redirected.
Actually they're probably building them because of the ongoing polar shift and the weakening of Earth's magnetic field.
Eh, the dangers from polar shifts are completely overblown, and most of what will happen is new-temporary magnetic poles will form for a bit to the new north and south magnetic pole locations finalize.

May get aurora's we're not used to, and space-borne electronics may be wonky sometimes in some areas in not hardened or programmed to compensate. However on the ground level, at most it means more of the world has a bit more solar radiation coming through a times, but nothing much worse than people who live at high elevations or work as flight crew get regularly.

Unless the sun happens to bitch-slap us during this time, which it might, hence the bunkers. Honestly, this is probably why those tunnels in Turkey they found were built. A lot of things coincide to the last polar shift about 12,000 - 13,000 years ago. I hope I'm wrong, but, man, things look bad. And in the meantime we're fighting commies.
