*clears throat* Oh, really?

White folks weren't always the nicest people either, you know. :cautious: Maybe look at what happened at Sand Creek, for example.
Sand Creek was the Colorado regiments being glory hounds looking to prove themselves, since they were just guarding gold fields, miners, and transportation links instead of fighting the Confederates outside a few units at Gloreita Pass. It was a massacre brought on by ignoring reports, wanting to 'blood' units, and general indian hate.

The people killed at Sand Creek were pretty much all innocent.

However, there is a reason Cortez was able to get help from the local tribes taking down the Aztecs, and why groups like the Commanche were hated by their neighbors long before the Spanish showed up.

It isn't just that they killed those Natives, who were under a flag of truce, it was the things they did to their bodies afterward.
And such actions are rightly reviled.

Where are the museum wings dedicated to the barbarity various native tribes inflicted on each other? Where are the college courses focusing or exclusively dedicated to the savagery of the Aztecs, the Commanche, or any other non-white Tribe? What about what such tribes did to many white settlers, some of whom their tribal leaders had formal peace treaties with?

Aside from a few fringe loons, nobody is claiming that ugly things were not done by European and European-descended peoples in the Americas. Yet this is obsessively focused on in academia and much of media, while equal or worse things done by native Americans is either barely talked about, or not at all.

And it was called a "battle" until fairly recently.

Oh, and playing the "whatabout" game isn't helping you or the meme any. ;)

My tribe never violated any treaty it made, but the treaties did get violated. ;)

Then, they should made treaties with spanish Crown, not USA.Kings of Spain usually hold their world gave to natives, when USA broke all treates they made.

Why should the treaties broken during that time by the whites arnt any diffrent then ones broken by the natives?
Are we gonna forget the centuries of history prior to the native American wars where what happend was normal, hell even at the time it was normal.

Which Tribe is that?

And, you know, some colonial governments can claim the same thing. Virginia, for instance, has maintained its treaty obligations under the Treaty of Middle Plantation to this very day. So you can point to both sides doing the right thing too, it's not purely a history of evil colonists and innocent indians.

False. Completely and utterly false, as I believe I pointed out the last time you made this claim. The simple fact is the Treaty of Middle Plantation, signed in 1677, is STILL IN EFFECT and has been upheld by Virginia and the Natives.

I'm impressed the explosive was still potent!
According to my mother, boys after WW2 liked to toss found ammo into fire made in forest and wait for explosion. Some of them even take it to their homes, which was dauble dangerous -

firstly, they could blown up their homes
Secondly,if commies found it,their parents would go to prisons and could die there.

P.S Some of them,of course, died.Mother hear about one such case, but probably there was more..

What surprised me was that is had been submerged for that time frame. Even if it was in dirt...that dirt was very wet.

The Aztecs were massive dicks, like unbelivably so, so much so that the spanish as fucked up as they were were an improvement. Which isn't saying much.

They attacked their neigbours almost every year to get human sacrificies, take their property,and.....still let them keep weapons,so they could fight them next time.

They were not massive dicks, but massive idiot dicks.

About spanish - settlers enslaved indians, but catholic orders not only let them live free, but also teach how to build better homes and made better tools. They delivered cattle and pigs, too.

If you go to Mexico, visit some dominican, jesuit or augustian church - everytching there was made by local indians, including paintings in later churches.

Only architects were from Europe. No,no from Spain. From Italy.

Again with that Whataboutism. :cautious: If you're going to bash on people for doing something, and then turn around and admit to doing the same thing yourself, how is it that this somehow defends your original attack? Think on that some.

And to people on here in general - before you start bashing on Natives, maybe keep in mind you have at least a few of them on here with you.

Which Tribe is that?
One of the Lakota tribes - and I'm going to leave it at that.

I never claimed any such thing. Go back and look over what I said and what was said that I was responding to. Hell, just the last thing was ridiculous, which was about Natives breaking treaties when it's a well-known meme among us more Libertarian-leaning types that the government can't be trusted specifically because of all the treaties they made and then broke with the various tribes.

If you're going to keep bringing up your personal ethnic/tribal historic grievance, remember that this isn't a lefty site.

People will get sick of it, and start pushing back.
