It's oppressor bad, oppressed good. They simply are collectivist and view everything through a collective, and put palestinians in the good group and jews in Israel in the bad group. But this quickly spreads to all jews.
Leftists have these weird notions about economics, effort, and equality where the only way someone can be weaker / poorer is if they are being oppressed.
Everyone is born perfectly equal blank slate that can become anything.
They believe wealth is a zero sum game. Where everyone is born equal, and success can only come from theft. And strength only comes from wealth. As does talent. You are only a talented scientist because you were born rich enough to go to college where the professors raised your IQ by 50 points by giving lectures about wokeness.
They also believes there is always a "good guy" and a "bad guy" in every conflict.
Thus to them, weakness and poverty are virtues. Strength and Wealth are sins.
Sure, the richest are often evil. But not always, and you certainly cannot say that the middle class are "stealing from the poor". That is just moronic.
Therefore to a leftist, if the palestinians have lower GDP than israel, it is not because they are beheading heretics all day which ruins their economy and educational system. Having no tourism, no programmers, no scientists, no investors, and so on.
No, to a leftist it must be that the Israelies are stealing the wealth of the palestianians and oppressing them.
With the above established, their logic chain is:
The palestinians have lower GDP than israel.
Therefore Israel is stealing from the palestinians.
Therefore Israelies are evil.
Therefore the palestinains are good.
Therefore the palestinians are woke.
Even though they execute every gay person they see. They must be considered by definition "allies" of the gay movement before of the above logic. Anyone who says otherwise is a heretic who must be expelled from the Woke Church.
We recently saw a video of this semi famous woke guy taking his girl for a romantic 2 am stroll through one of the worst crime ridden ghettos in america. Where he saw a druggie trying to break into a car and decided to go lecture him. the druggie threatened him with a knife so he started trying to argue logic with him. Then he got stabbed and died.
It is the same logic. That poor black (poor victim!) druggie is only breaking into a car because evil rich white old men (EVIL!) stole all his wealth. Therefore this poor drug addict is a good guy and will never harm a virtue signaler who is only coming up to him for a nice friendly chat and to offer a hand in help.
