Seems like this woke term failed to catch on.

What people pushing LatinX fail to understand is that the Spanish language has gramatical gender, that not everyone who speaks Spanish as native language is from Latin America, or that not everyone from Latin America speaks Spanish as their native language.

For Brazilians the official language is Portugese. In Belize, Guyana, and parts of the Carribean the official language is English. In Suriname and other parts of the Carribean the official language is Dutch. For French Guiana and Haiti it's French. Heck, French Guiana is part of Metropolitan France, the European Union, and uses the Euro.
