No, only in academia. And once the college industry collapses, they will be gone for good.
They are winning in Europe,and almost win in USA.Only Trump saved them,dunno how long he manage to do so.

Firstly, they were quite popular, and along with the line item veto, and many state level term limits were passed in the 1990s.
These were systematically overturned for Federal offices as unconstitutional in US Term Limits vs Thorton, and the subsequent Constitutional amendment process in Congress failed due to overwhelming and systemic Democrat opposition.
Since then there's been sporadic attempts to reintroduce them; however, the case for term limits I think has failed, as it is not entrenched Congresspeople who are actually the underlying cause of the issues with the Federal government that plague the common people, rather, it is the expansive power of the unelected bureaucrats in the Executive Branch, and term limits would actually end up further entrenching and empowering said unelected bureaucrats, as it would prevent Congress members from being able to accrue enough expertise and power to oppose them and hold them accountable.
Thus, until the unelected bureaucrats have been systemically brought to heel and Congress has resumed fully it's proper role in writing laws rather than letting the bureaucracy do things visa via regulations, term limits are solution in search of a problem, and are not worth the political time and effort to pursue compared to other reforms.
