Now I'm thinking about it, I'm not sure what kind of person Kamala is. What would she do?
She is a mad leftist.
Corporate media keeps on saying she is a "black woman" but actually she is half jamaican half indian. And she clearly hates african-americans based on her career.

Aside from her skin color and vagina, there are only 3 notable things about her career:
1. she promised to never seek the death penalty for criminals no matter how heinous.
2. she ran a successful rehabilitation program for non violent criminals
3. she came up with and instituted a program that put a bunch of black parents in prison for the crime of their kids skipping school. The first time in america where parent's were persecuted for the actions of their children.
She argued this is the solution to ghetto gang violence.

So the only thing a presidents needs to do to send army is to call whatever his opponents are doing an insurrection and demand that they stop. Cool loophole.
Nope
The Act empowers the U.S. president to call into service the U.S. Armed Forces and the National Guard:

when requested by a state's legislature, or governor if the legislature cannot be convened, to address an insurrection against that state (§ 251),

to address an insurrection, in any state, which makes it impracticable to enforce the law (§ 252), or

to address an insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination or conspiracy, in any state, which results in the deprivation of constitutionally secured rights, and where the state is unable, fails, or refuses to protect said rights (§ 253).

Honestly, a good read.
It has been used many times in history, and a state can even call for UT to he used during times kf unrest.
He'll, Trump could have called it in 2020,

You think Trump could have pulled it off if he’d tried to in 2020? And would it have gone well?

Democrat ideas of how to solve something... end up making the problem worse. Eeeyup.

Lincoln did it.
During his reelection, democrats use mail in voting to steal the election. He just hanged them all.

There might have been an insurrection against trump though, but I think we would have won it cleanly and quickly.
Trump chickened out though. It is his greatest failure

so if all we need to do to deploy troops to the southern border is to be invaded pretty sure we have had millions of invaders this year alone. generally when groups of young men armed with guns cross your border to sell drugs/women/children/avocados or kidnap women or kill your citizens you don't need a whole lot of justification to bring down the hammer on them.

Difference being we can't just murder anyone crossing. Makes it a law enforcement matter unless they are literally killing border guards rn mass and sending vehicles to capture American cities

I mean they do kill border guards. and being an invader doesn't require you to hold territory. unless you wouldn't count vikings, raiders, reavers, or pirates as something the military should handle.

Invade

The way in which the US military would be able to operate would be if a military force or a large terror group like Hamas was to cross the border en mass.
The border though is a policing function unless you intend to shoot on sight any and everyone crossing into the country.

Plus you would have to have congress declare it a war, or have the president invoke martial law or the insurrection act to put troops there in a policing action...

So while yes you could classify it as an invasion, it is not an invasion in which the military can be deployed to the border for.

Eh Congress doesn't bother declaring wars for us anyways. pretty sure we haven't bothered with that for a few decades now.

We don’t give a shit about the stupid way the US military runs itself Zach. Other nations have regarded the border not as a police matter but a military matter and actually posted military units as border guards. And if the army is so useless that it won’t deploy to the border if ordered then it sounds like we should reduce military spending.

Both Iraq and A-stan were AUMF. Authorization for Use of Military Force

I am telling you how the US Government sees it.
Not just the fucking military.
We legally by US law, can not be sent to do policing duties unless Insurection act or martial law.
You can blame our founding fathers for making sure the government can't weaponize the military willy nilly and send them into the streets.
They have to have valid reason, such as insurrection, or invasion.

Birder is a police action, because even nations like Poland have specific groups that are border guards, like ours.
They perform police action and the like.

And do to our little civil war, posse comitatus was created specifically do we can not have the military be armed while doing thing on US soil...

Basically, it is strictly a police function
