No, it's on purpose. The sunfish being very obviously not actually a member of the group it pretends to be able to speak as one of is rather central to the joke.

So you have a fish, calling itself a mammal, and asking other marine mammals (how many of those are actually fish, I wonder) to acccept sharks because diversity is strength.

I dunno', it kinda' frightens me what reactionary-minded elements might do once they're riled up enough to make their memes a reality.

The other side may be Worldwide Weimar with a side-order of KPD militancy, but that sure doesn't mean linking up with Gen Z Hitler is a good idea, either. Because that's increasingly who I feel people here may end up turning to; while it may be inevitable, I'll have no part in it, and reject both Globalists and Neo-Crusaders the same way I refuse both Communists and Nazis.
