So true.

We have a family recipe for egg noodles that's been passed down since before my family immigrated to the US. It consists of: eggs+flour. Mix and let air dry in strips of desired thickness.

There's... Not a lot to figure out there. Science has plenty examples of multiple people independently discovering the same things. I wouldn't be surprised to find out noodles were one of them.
Noodles and dumplings are just two examples.

Those words, in English, are not derived from any Asian language. "Noodle" is derived from a German word describing dough that's been cut into strips and dried. "Dumpling" is entirely English and refers to soft dough that's been cooked by boiling it.

Mikhail Gorbachev, the last leader of the USSR and best known for drunk-driving a superpower at the end of the Cold War (along with also ending the Soviet invasion of Afganistan) recently came out and said that US never should have gotten involved there:

EDIT: I'd have to look it up but ISTR the British Empire losing an army there in the mid-to-late 19th century too.

I used to think Colbert was funny; now he's straight up talking about how people like me need to be hunted down and killed. How times have changed.
He used to be the parody of a right-wing stuffed suit spouting the kinds of right-wing nonsense even hard-core right-wingers wouldn't take seriously unless they "drank the (toxic) cool-aid" because his show was on Comedy Central and it was all for laughs.

Now? Not so much.

"Culture Writer" Roslyn Talusan of the AV Club, Vice Media and the feminist website BITCH MEDIA has discovered that there's White people culturally appropriating Asian cooking. In this case, White Female Chef Pippa Middlehurst had the AUDACITY to write a cookbook titled "Dumplings and Noodles."

Love the comments and ratio of course.

Update on the story...

Hope you feel good about yourselves Nazis...

Going by how many people in the US apparently go to therapy it's a miracle your society actually still works - or that you made it this far to begin with.

its roughly 19.2% of us in some kind of therapy with in the last 12 months, with 15.8% or so on prescription drugs, and 9.5% receiving counciling from a professional. With those kinds of numbers....yeah you have a point.

The first thing that comes to mind when I hear "dumplings" is "chicken and dumplings."

Now I'm hungry and craving southern comfort food. Wait, that means I'm craving the return of the Confederacy!!!! 😯😯😯😯

Funny story Colbert was the guy that finally pushed me to support Trump back in 2016. I was a Cruz diehard back then and blackpilled pretty hard after Trump won the nomination. It wasn't until that feckless jackal did a supremely unfunny bit merciless mocking all of my friends, neighbors, and family as sub-civilized rubes that I decided to back orange Hitler as a middle finger to people like him.

I'd kill to lock him in a room with Bill Burr, Norm MacDonald, and maybe Joe Rogan so the world could watch his fake ass struggle to survive in a room with actual comedy. See that stupidity with Jon Stewart of all people running a comedy train on his ass.

Being called a nazi should be considered a badge of pride nowadays.
Being called a Nazi is someone saying you're comparable to some of the worst people who ever lived. If you think that's a compliment and badge of honor then you will not be remembered kindly and whatever afterlife you believe in probably has a "special place" reserved just for you that is extremely unpleasant.

If your God sends people to Hell for not prostrating themselves and begging for absolution when wokescolds call them Nazis, for drinking milk or posting on the Sietch, then that is a God that is not worthy of worship. I have been called Nazi, racist, subhuman and bunch of other names and I don't give a shit, actually it feels kind of good when the assholes do that, your god be damned if he doesn't like that.

Nah, not when the opposition calls everything racist and everyone a Nazi.

Make that label useless by not caring.

You wanna call me a Nazi/racist/____phobe?

The proper response isn't arguing how I'm not. It's just saying "okay, and?"

Take the power away from these retarded insults.
